I love this pic and can't wait until my hair gets there:

Catalog modeling seem to be the faith of so many ANTM winners. I guess Eva hasn't been getting too many acting or modeling gigs.

Wow.
She looks great (and so do the LF's)...but it's sad that this is what they've reduced her to doing. Matter of fact, where are any of the ANTM winners these days? 1 year and they're out! :nono:

Are you kidding me?
Wow that's terrible how the winners don't really get a real modeling career.

Didn't she just marry or get engaged to somebody famous?

Is anyone else annoyed at the misspellings of the words? Phasion, Phunky, Phresh? :look:

I really hate when companies do that, Mizani is another one. WTH is a "rhelaxer"?

:lachen: Girl you wouldn't like some of my LS's then. They love to spell stuff with K's (e.g.--cute=kute)

That's a nice LF. I can't wait til my natural hair hangs that long in some twists.

I'm glad Eva is doing what she's doing. I've seen her on hairsisters.com and other wig sites modeling. She is getting her money, that's for sure. And that's more than some of the other ANTM girls can say.

Believe it or not, catalog and/or print modeling is where the big $$$ is. The work is consistent. A spread in a magazine or walking in a show are only one booking/job. Catalogs can rerun pictures multiple times. Plus Eva's only 5' 6.5". She's too short for runway.

Yes, Lance I can't think of his last name. He plays Calvin on Tyler Perry's The House of Payne.

*Scratches head* Its cute yes but its fake....Have yall seen how they do those things? The smell? I had nightmares for days afterwards!!! She can have it!!!

yea i seen the pics last year, but im still wondering is the wig suppose to look that fake?? Did they just put the wig on her head digitally?!:ohwell:

ITA Eva looks better with shorter hair. Glad to see her doing something these days. I remember hearing how the modeling industry looks as ANTM models as a joke and don't feel that they should be accepted simply because they win some contest and thrust into the industry.

These ads don't make me want to run out and buy a LF but I've never been a great fan of wig/weaves/braids. They do look like they were photoshoped.

Uhhh. They're nice pics, but the lacefronts look fake to me. I've seen more realistic looking ones. she still looks good, though.

She looks wonderful, but I too was kind of wondering: "Ummm, shouldn't you be walking a runway in Milan or something??"

There is nothing wrong with catalog work. You can make good money that way.

I have a cousin who models and she has met some of the ANTM girls. She said that the publicity can also be bad because they put all their stuff out there on TV and the kind of loose there mystique.

Modeling is often about selling an image. The advertisers want a blank slate with no baggage attached.

Alos, I think Tyra is always trying to make a statement with who she picks. She tries to change how the modeling world sees beauty. A lot of those girls would never have been picked up by a reputable agency if Tyra did not give them publicity. Ie the girl with the burns last season would be a liability for any modeling agency because she would be limited in what she could model and it would take too much time and money retouching her pics.

It looks ok, but she is gorgeous!

I wonder why she doesn't get more prestigous work...
She is a black woman...it's hard for us:yep:

Great post:yep:

Eva is so pretty, but I love her short & sassy short do! The girl would look beautiful with any hairstyle.

Not when you're only 5'6.5". I'm just saying. :look: To be a runway model you need to be at least 5'9". Some designers only want girls who are 5'10"+.
