Your hair looks so thick! How is your reggie going to change now that you're relaxed? Do you have to find different products or is your relaxed hair responding the same with your old staples?

Looks nice. You can always transition again if you want, you just might have to change some of your products if your getting alot of tangles and knots.

i may cowash sometimes but maybe once a week. i used pantene r&n yesterday mixed with aussie moist and it made the best moisturizing dc:lick:
and my neutrogena tripple moisture leave in cream worked wonders
my next wash will be with the shampoo and i will invest in the conditioner on thrursday and maybe the 5 minute mask i love the line so far

im going to wash weekly
dc with every wash
apply moisturizer everyday concentrating on my ends
i will protective style 5 times a week buns updos and maybe rollersets
2 of those days i may still protective style. today my hair was snagging on my dress and that was a no no i ended up pinning my hair up after church
now its in a doobie :hair:
i will use direct heat about 3 times a month at the most
no manipulation(combing hair with fingers until wash day (hopefully)
paying attention to my ng and demacration
getting a hooded dryer for rollersets:grin:

thats all i can think of

Thanks so much for posting this Rapunzel... I too am natural and plan to relax by the end of July. I can't wait! All I'm doing now is narrowing down my relaxer choices, but think that I may take the plunge and go with lye (currently Vitale will likely be the choice). I need a change and a break from all the time that goes into my hair!

looks great so full of body and thick ! i know those knots can be killer . im happy for you . you tempting me girl ! lol

If your happy, were happy. So you relaxed it yourself?...how long did you leave the relaxer in for?
yes i self relaxed did the ends and the middle of the strands then i went over and did the roots(i didnt burn which was good)
i am so far so good.
to be honest i dont even know. id say maybe 20-25 minutes including the smoothing. i tried to time it but couldnt didnt want to get relaxer in my eyes for rushing. i let it set for 3 minutes after i smoothed it in. i have a few waves in the back(not nape) but its fine with me
