I've been reading up and I'm told that a slightly acidic shampoo is best to keep the scalp regulated and maintain the natural chemical balance. Anyone know of a few? I like to add them to my...arsenal. :sekret:

Elucence shampoos have PH of 4.5-5.5 and KeraCare shampoo has 6.0 and their 1st lather is a 4.5

All Joico products
Elasta qp shampoo's
All Paul Mitchell shampoos
Porosity Control shampoo
Garnier shampoos, namely the strength and repair shampoo
ORS creamy aloe shampoo

Cathy Howse says on her website that shampoos specified for dry damaged hair, color treated or chemically treated hair are usually acid ph shampoos.

Just seconding elucence, both the clarifying shampoo and the moisture benefits shampoo.

Thanks, but I'm actually looking for something slightly acidic. I think PH balanced in 7, right?

I think when shampoo's say they are pH balanced, they are speaking in terms of the pH of the acid mantle on your scalp, especially the ones for damaged hair. Moisturizing shampoos tend to be higher on the pH scale. I think aphogee is under 5.5.
