Hello Ladies

I normally do my hair on Saturdays; but I ended up doing it Sunday...well I got started late so I finished late; 11:45pm to be exact.

So what about you?

It's after 1:00am in the morning and I still can't sleep :ohwell:

i think 2am...i fell asleep with my deep con AFTER sitting under my dryer for 45mins...i went to my room to lay down and woke up at 2am then was paranoid about a protein overload so i washed...did a moisture deep con to be safe then rinsed moisterized braided, wraped my hair in a scarf then went to bed...come to think of it...it was probably more like 3:30 am :sigh:

OMG...Anubis you had to put in some work that night lady! I would have been paranoid too...glad your hair turned out pretty and healthy :)

I have stayed up until 1am only b/c I was putting twist in my girls hair and I did mine last. That was a loooooong day!

Not that late, probably around 12:30am, but I've got up very early to do my hair in the morning before work: 4:30am!

I have never stayed up late to do my hair. If something is not finished by the time I start getting sleepy, it's gonna wait until morning time.

Latest I stayed up doing my hair was1:30 am and I was so sleepy but it had to be done before the next day so...

I've stayed up til about 2-3am before. Once I fell asleep on top of my covers with Aztec Clay mask on, a shower cap with DC in and LHCF on my laptop in front of me. I was like, if the ladies could see me now:lachen:

I have been up until the next morning removing microbraids.

I've stayed up late too before-- especially when I start late. From start to finish, it takes me 5-6 hours to do my hair. My hooded hair dryer isn't the best, plus I like my new growth flat ironed.

I have to cosign on the 3:30am thing. I just did it last week when I did my flexirods. I was nodding off under that hard bonnet dryer and sweatin' like a hebrew slave! I finally climbed into bed w/the flexrods still intact around 3:30am and had to wake up @ 5am to go to work...:nono:

I've also done the DIY micro braid removal which is an all night job for me... starting around 7-8pm and I'll be up until about 6 or 7 the next morning:rolleyes: (realizing why I don't do micro mini's anymore...)

Rosie

I should have done just what you posted....cause right now I am so darn sleepy...

The time and energy we put in to be beautiful!! It is so worth it ladies...:yep:

We may look tired and sleepy the next day (like me right now) but our hair is gorgeous...:lachen:

I do understand...that new growth really kept me up longer than I expected.

Yeah I have to say the 3-4 range. It was because of some event or something having to be done the next day.

I unfortunately have the honor of saying I have had to do this while doing some of my family members hair also. Geesh love can make you do some serious sacrificing.

Ugh...back when I used to relax my hair, I'd spend a ridiculous amount of time DC'ing, then I'd wrap it, put a silk scarf on it and blowdry on top of the scarf since I don't have one of those full head things (lol don't know what it's called). Then I'd take down the wrap and grease my scalp (didn't know any better!), then I'd flat iron it...wrap it back up again... took hours :( Probably why my arms are so diesel now :lachen:

Back in the day before the day, I used to stay up ALL NIGHT puting my hair in braids. Granted I only had to do it once every couple of months, it probably evened itself out but I sure felt the effects of sleep deprivation for the next few days

Infact, I remember watching the WHOLE first series of Heroes consecutively the last time I was crazy enough to undertake such a feat.

I think it was either 3 or 4 AM, something like that. I henna'd, deep conditioned and rollerset. Why I started so late at night is beyond me. I fell asleep with a bonnet dryer and woke up to dry hair, flatironed. Phew! I'm tired just thinking about it.
