i saw this in youtube and thought it was a really good idea for protective styling..anyone seen this before? Anyone try it out??

I used it, I cut my hair a lil above my shoulders in aug 08, and used the mane clip with a fake pony for my whole fall semester which was from aug 08-dec08, my hair retain a lot of length using this...it's a good idea if you are baggying your ends and just use the mane clip, put the hair in a ponytail, and wrap the fake pony around your ends.

I am not the best judge of fake hair, but I think the straight hair looked very natural on her with that clip. If I could find some decent 4a/b hair somewhere, I would try this mane clip.
