If that is a photo of her hair in the first original post it looks like from the background of the photo and the way her hair is pressed that she might be a client of Reneices'. (which wouldn't surprise me at all:yep:) Reneices and her clients seem to constantly have dramatic hair transformations. I wish I only lived close enough. Ajacak your hair looks great!
 
I believe she is a client of Reneice's. I think her hair is simply gorgeous as well. My younger brother was lookin at the site with me one day and he was like does this website really help people with their hair? and I was like yea look at this girls before and after pics..sure enough it was ajacks..he was amazed at her progress too!

Yes, I am a client of Reniece (everyone recognizes that pink background). I have been a client for about a year and a half.

My regimen is really simple: Weaves of course are my number one protective style.

Weave Regimen:
- I wear them 6-8 weeks at a time.
- Wash/DC once a week.
- Moisturize and seal every other day.

Non-Weave Regimen:
- Texlax every 6 months
- Wash/DC once a week
- Co-Wash once a week
- For styling I either flat-iron once a week and then wrap or I do rollerset.

That's about it. I try to keep it simple!

Could you provide more detail as to how you care for your while wearing a weave? What products do you use to moisturize, shampoo and condition your hair?
 
Yes. It is an absolute gorgeous transformation. Can you imagine what it will look like 12 months from now?? AJACKS, where are the updates?:wallbash:

I don't have a shampoo that I really like so I am just kind of using up some AO shampoos and Aveda Dry Remedy shampoo that I have left over to make room for more. I dilute the shampoo in an applicator bottle and just squeeze it in between the braids.

My staple conditioners are AO HSR, AO GPB and SitriNilla. I don't dilute my conditioner. I add JBCO to it and just apply it to the braids for 45-60 minutes with heat.

I moisturize with SheScentIt Moisture Mist and seal with Vatika Frosting.
I like the Vatika Frosting b/c it's solid, so I can apply a small amount directly to the braids without getting the weave hair greasy.

WOW!!! I don't think I've ever paid attention to your siggy. I'm always drooling over your avatar. But that is some GREAT progress. Congrats.
