I was always using more protein than I should have. Now that my hair is dry and the winter weather is making it even dryer, I plan on using a moisturizing conditioner. and I might Dc twice a week. I dont really want to but if it can help with my hair then I will do it.
using shampoo every other week or less
using more butters (avocado/shea) & oils
moisturizing edges/nape before I go outside
stop using my less moisturizing products: silicon mix, rusk smoother
prepoo=dc on dry hair + oils on scalp
It seems like during the winter the focus is moisture, moisture.
I hadn't thought about changing my regiment but I think I am going to have to increase moisture. I have started wearing my hat with the satin lining and completly covering my entire head when I am out in the cold.
I have definitely had to increase my moisture. We have been having some crazy wind here in Upstate and that is killing my hair. I have been walking around like a babushka, with a silk scarf wrapped all around, tied under my chin. Do what you gotta do, ya feel me?
