PROTEIN TREATMENT QUESTION

I am currently using Aphogee 2 min Reconstructor, but I feel Like I need something A little bit stonger. I want something that isn't too intense, but more effective than 2 min. Does any one have any suggestions?

I think this one will be a little too strong for what the OP wants to accomplish I think. What I would recommend is to add an egg to a moisturizing conditioner and use that to DC with but without heat, allow it to dry on your hair naturally uncovered and wash out with luke warm to cold water. If you wash it out with hot water, you'll end up cooking the egg on your hair. Not good.

You can add Aphogee's Two-Step treatment (the FIRST STEP ONLY) to deep conditioner for added strength with every DC that'll be stronger than the 2-min Reconstructor but not as powerful as a full blown Aphogee Two-Step Treatment.

I really like Nexxus Emergencee and Sebastian Penettrait!
Aphogee 2 step is good for the week before your relaxer but is really strong imo

I def am going to try either the Nexxus or the Joico.

I clarified and conditioned my hair for 15 minutes with MT (for additional strength) and AO HSR, Now I am henna'ing my hair for 2 hours followed with indigo on my hairline mostly for another 2 hours. (I will use some porosity control conditioner on my hair today as well). I will then DC with CON Ultra Nourishing Conditioner mixed with a little AO HSR for 3 hours, possibly overnight.

Okay I know that just a few weeks ago I said I hated this conditioner and I have not yet changed my mind but I want to give it another try after reading Chicoro's method of using it. I used to comb my hair after washing it out berning but before putting in the DC and got a lot of broken hairs in the comb. After learning how Chicoro does her treatments, I decided to purchase a small bottle first to see how I like it again.

I am so ticked off with myself for getting so upset with the last treatment that I chucked a whole 16 oz bottle of it, that was a bad idea. So now we shall see but I won't be attempting this until another week or so before I get my braids installed. I will update then on my results.
