Less is more......No really !!!!!!

Ok so there is a back story..................I happened to Cut 2 of my fingers this evening!!!!AHHHHH

(I broke a glass in the bathroom this weekend and cut my ring finger on the left hand gushing and tissue hangin ( ok TMI!!! but there is a reason for the details!!!!!) I'm like DANG IT!!!!! I can't do anything!!, the way it was cut, it kept opening if I moved it around.....Like every other minute so....needless to say, didn't do much with the Hair or NAILS for that matter.... I was itching to take off my nail polish but again I digress....


So after Bunning it since Thursday evening....I decide okay Tonight is the night !!! Imma DO my HAIR!!!!


Ok So I can Finally , wash and condition my scalp proper!! and I'm luxuriating in the shower!! Now I'm ready to Step out , I see the drain has some hair ( not that much mind you) I go to swipe the hair from the drain And

DAMMMMMMNNN There goes 2 MORE fingers!!! my Right hand this time!!!! Middle and ring fingers!!! Right across the knuckles!!! I thought I had picked up every piece, however this one was caught in the holes!!!!!

I scream in frustration and pain!! I'm like OK Bunning agin!!!! I can't do rollers


I run around, get the bandages on my fingers, I look at the healing finger on my left and the Bloody fingers to my right! I'm just

I cleared my mind! Took at deep breathe and proceed to start rollersetting!!! I sqirt a dime or less quarter size of Rusk Smoother....barely getting it on my hair ( fingers are throbbing)....focused on the ends and I get my spray bottle, cause this hair is gonna dry before I'm done with 5 rollerserplexed

Crippled and all....... After 35 minutes and a 24 episode....I sit under the dry and viola........Rollers are coming out and pins flyin but MY HAIR is DONE!!!!



I take the roller out and BBBBBBBBBBBBBBAMMMMMMMM

My hair is shiner than its EVER been in all my rollersetting years.....What,it is light, fluffy and falling like at the SALON ....Could it be, I used less product, more water and it's SHINY as all get out

I have busted Hands right now I can't type that fast much less....upload something.... It hurt soo much I felt like crying and then kicking myself!!! I have never been so accident prone as these last few months ...droppin stuff But NEVER this!!!!

But I agree with you. Less is more when rollersetting. A little leave in, a dab of serum and a bottle full of water gives the softest, swangenest, smoothest rollersets!
(don't forget to do a final rinse with Porosity Control or acv. Swang for days!)

I'm right there with you! After it stop Burning!!! I was like ..... this has GOT to be the worst luck!! I don't even want to tell nobody IRL I done did this!!!

Its sounds like you need stitches Sweetie....It would heal properly and sooner if a Doctor looks at it and thinks you need them..

Thanks Ladies!!! And yeah, I have to say it looked fuller and healthy to me this way....The process od blowing out the roller marks and keeping the curl was easier too!!!! I really really am shocked and happy too!!

In the past, I would see the shine a bit before blowing but after that it would definitely be dullier....so then the serum came in.....this would work to restore shine but I was always wondering how come the salon could get it shiny after the blowout you know..... welll know I think I know

Well, the ones that were cut yesterday were bleeding something seriuos, I bleed thru a bandage in the first 5 minutes......it was BAD at first! Then when I started setting the water and bandage....NOT so Good...... ( Please don't try this at home I tell ya; I was just so ready to do my hair that I couldn't bun AGAIN)

Less is more for me too....Especially if I'm wearing my hair out.....

I did think this too, especially the first incident cause I saw stuff I'd never seen before BUT....unfortunately, I don't have Health insurance at the moment....and couldn't do it.....I just tried to force the skin close together with bandaid and that cut is healing quickly...Used bacitracin too.....

yes..... I will never forget this one! Although they don't look too bad now, they stung like Crazy and the middle finger bleed like Niagra Falls!!!

Results were great, sorry about the glass, when it rains it pours but I'm sure it's over now.

I hope this is it for a lifetime! I can say I have never been this prone to cuts and bruise as in the last 2 months or so I can't even explain why......I mean dropping stuff like I said and this was just the Icing; Whip cream and Sprinkles!!! on the Cake!!!


The first pict although you can't see it anymore, the cut has come together now...it started at the Middle line on my finger to the top line...I was soo HOt!!!!
