I purchased the Instyler in January. It worked fine, except I wasn't able to get close to the roots and the noise that the the barrel makes while turning (and the turning itself) took time to get used too. I prefer my ceramic flat iron. And by the way, when I got ready to do my 1x per month flat iron at the end of last month my Instyler would not work. No heat, no noise, no nothing so I am returning it.

I think I'm going to buy myself one as a valentines day gift. DH cousin has one and she loves it. I watched almondjoi's yt vid and it came out pretty. I'm impressed.

:nono:I had bad result with the instyler, Don't get me wrong, it straightens your hair well! But it damaged my hair and caused me to have to get it cut. Maybe I had it up too high. It's a great tool. But please be careful, because it get extremely hot!!!

I have the instyler and I can honestly say that im one the fence about it because you cant use any kind of oil or moisture with it, and it takes forever to get your crown area straight. Other than that the instyler produces salon qaulity looks!!!

I purchased the InStyler for my daughters. I like the results so far. Both of my daughters are natural. One has 4a hair and the other 3c. The InStyler gives their hair waaaay more body and shine than a normal flat iron. Both of my girls hair have swing and bounce that last for days.
Their har no longer looks dull and dry when they wear straight styles. They go between curly and straight styles on a monthly basis.
I will say it does get very hot,and u have to be careful. My daughter burned her neck and ear the first time she used it. Now we only use it on the lower setting, which gives just as good results.
I do not use it for my self, (relaxed hair), only because I cannot get the technique down. I am not good with flat irons, or hair tools period.
I am satisfied with the InStyler.

dont waste your time, i would rather use my flat iron; and get better results, i would only use the instyler for body afterwards!!!
