If you do a search you'll see there alot of threads and reviews on this:yep:

I haven't used it but I wouldn't use it even if I could because that rotating hot cylinder isn't ceramic so it aint gettin nowhere near my strands :nono:

I love it but I know some here do not.

See this thread:

You'll find my endorsement of it there, along with many naysayers!

Please note that part of my being happy with it is because it is the only machine that I can successfully straighten my hair with. It does not come out the way a Chi-ironed hair would, of course. (I've hear dthe Maxi-Glide is good, too, and it's possible I would like it just as much or better than the Instyler).

I saw a girl on youtube who said she used it and her hair looked great! Has anyone on this site used it? I searched and didn't find anything.
Thanks :D

I've tried both the in styler and the maxiglide. I can say hands down the maxiglide is a better buy. The instyler can get you hair straight but there's only 3 settings and that rotating curling iron plate gets really, really hot and it's dry heat plus there's nothing protecting you, your hands from that rotating plate I got burned using it, never got burned with the maxiglide. Also I didn't get that bouncing full body look, IMO not worth it.

Why I love maxiglide b/c:
It has the steam feature that gets your hair straight without having to crank up the heat but it still has heat settings. you can also buy the hsn deal and get the n=miniglide along with it on flex pay-so they send it to you after you order it. then you pay it off in 2 more payments.

I got my InStyler two days ago, used it tonite and am very pleased. But that sucka gets hot! And there's a small issue with handling, since the barrel only turns one way, but no big deal.

If you want to stay away from heat all together then I'd say go with the MaxiGlider.

I plan on getting the MaxiGlider sometime early 2010. I like to have good tools and I don't want to use heat everytime I want to style...so the Maxi gives me the option.

Here's the link of my results if interested. hope it opens.
