I just place the bottle upside down until the remainder runs down.

I do this and then I add water. Sometimes I will combine all the empties and when I get a new bottle just add some of that to the watered down mixture.

I am soooooo frugal...

I replied yes but I should have said no. I have never done this but I think for my Aveda DR IRT and Lacio Lacio I will add some water and rinse it out :look:

I just add water to make it thin and turn the bottle upside down.
Me too.
Not to say that I'm beyond cutting open the bottle. I hate wasting anything no matter how cheap it may or may not be. I could see me taking a pair of scissors to something I really like.

I did this for the first time last wk and there was enough for 2 DC left and I use alot of product. It made me wonder how much product I've thrown away over time.

Nope. :nono: I sit mine upside-down until next shampoo then get whatever falls out. I throw away container afterwards b/c I need the space anyways. :drunk:

Of course! First I turn the bottle upside down. Then after I get all I can that way I take my pinky and run it around the inside rim to get every darn drop!!!

Not with shampoos though but definitely with conditioner and leave-ins!!

Will Cut in Half, Scrape, Rinse, Tear Open, Tear Up, Split, Drain, Strain,Turn Upside Down.......:look:

By Any Means Necessary!

No, never thought about that....ummm I usually close the top and sling it towards the wall....

Thanks for the idea tho!!!!

it depends on the bottle

if it's a Nexxus Dualiste bottle then yes but I try to avoid the odd-shaped products now bc it's not worth the effort!

I use to make fun of my mom for doing this. Now my husband makes fun of me because there are plastic bags with cut up bottles all over my bathroom! I do this with my facial products too! I'm turning into my mom!
