I was in someone's fotki and they had a link to Bubln's. I went to see her hair, and she's transitioning again.

Ok, I confess...I'm glad. I LOVED her natural hair.:yep: I know it's not about me, but still.:lachen:

'Tis all.

So, she did end up relaxing? I remember she was saying that she was thinking about it.

What a waste though, now she has to transistion all over again when she could have just stayed natural in the first place.

I did that a couple of times myself. :ohwell: It really does feel like a waste.

true...I guess she realized she loved her natural hair more than she though? I can't remember her reason for transitioning...

If she slowly transitions without a BC then she will be able to keep her length. I will be watching her fotki!

She did relax. There was a thread on here about it awhile back. It was beautiful, but not as beautiful as her natchal hair.

Now how long is it gonna take her to transition all that hair out? I wonder if she will BC early on.

I was mad that she relaxed.

She told me back in November that she was planning on doing the BC in August, but I don't know if that's still the plan.

I don't really think it's a waste. It took her relaxing her hair to realize that she actually liked being a natural better. If she never made the mistake of relaxing her hair she never would have learned from it and she would have always had that nagging desire to relax in the back of her head. Now when she goes natural she may remain natural forever :yep:.

Wasn't she relaxed years ago when she first came here? I thought that was the reason she went natural to begin with, because she didn't like it?

Yea!!!!!!!! CHAKA will return!!!!! I love her natural hair!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you tell I am happy?

i dont think there is anything wrong with her getting a relaxer and now deciding to transition. I mean people its just hair. We are people. We change and evolve every day amd what u liked and wanted 6 months ago may not be what we want a year from now.

We all go through changes with hair and maybe she just wanted a change. Or maybe she was going through things in her life and wanted something to reflect that.

Bubbln brown congrats on ur journey. ur hair looks great either way!

But also in those years she's been natural she's learned a lot about hair care and she probably thought that she could take care of relaxed hair better knowing what she knows now. I've read a lot about people being relaxed and then going natural only to go back to being relaxed. Time changes things. We don't keep the same opinions we once had. All that matters is that she's happy in whatever decision she makes, and right now I think she's happy with becoming natural again.

I love her hair natural and relaxed, but her natural hair is truly one of a kind. I'm excited to watch her transition. She seems excited about experimenting with shorter hair, I can't wait to see the styles!

Not really. She told me that she loved transitioning. She's doing the BC in August and keeping it BSL. Her hair is sooo perdy!

i dont think its a waste, i never felt that way when i relaxed and decided to go back... the first time .. and now second time lol. its all part of the hair journey.

anyway im glad shes going back natural :)

If she likes it, I love it! Her hair is beautiful and I can't wait to see updates  I'm excited like it's my hair :giggle:

I as well many others are aware that it is just hair. We also understand the need and want for a change. All of us on here can attest to that all too well.

I do not see anything wrong with her hair either way. But I did and do favor her natural hair (I wear my hair similiar and she was and is an inspiration) as did many others. Now how she chose or choose to wear her hair is her preference and many of the women on here would support her either way. When she wanted to straighten it, she straightened it, otherwise she wore it curly. She has been like that over the years. She was and is a beautiful woman either way and I often told her so.

IDK, I think her hair has been gorgeous every way she has worn it whether natural or relaxed. Now that she wants to wear it natural and shorter, that will probably be wonderful as well.

I agree. I had one failed transition under my belt when I joined LHCF. I'm glad I relaxed and reached my goals, because now I never have to wonder if I missed out on anything. Sometimes you need to see both sides to make a final decision.:yep:

I'm cracking up at her disclaimer, but I guess people looked at it like taboo for what she did. It's her head of hair!! Live and let live! People are so quick to get pissy when someone makes one crooked remark about their hair, and I guess people were hitting her up doing the same thing.

Hey loves. Just wanted to stop in on this issue. It is our decision as women...our CHOICE...as to how we want to present ourselves to the world. Natural, straightened, flipped, curled...etc. That is the wonderful thing about our hair. We can change as much as we want to. I remember that the reason I first sat in a barber's chair and got a low ceasar was because my mother told me that my hair was my beauty. I was certain that past the length of my hair (which I got from my mother because she is a hair growing machine) and inside my heart was my real beauty. The love I have in my heart available to show to my fellow was the greatest show of beauty...which comes from God!

I love you all! God bless!
