After almost 6 months of transitioning, I spontaneously decided to do the big chop. I have updated my fotki with some pics after my natural hair was flatironed. My hairdresser took some pics of my fro with her cam, and I'm waiting for her to email them to me. I can't believe I had the courage to cut my hair off. I didn't even cry lol. Enjoy.

Natural ladies please chime in and give suggestions on what products to use for a curly wash-n-go, to keep my hair soft, and to prevent my hair from reverting while it's flatironed. Thanks in advance.

Congrats!! I use a leave in conditioner and fantasia gel for my wash and gos. When my hair was flatironed I just made sure I wrapped it at night. And used a shower cap over my scarf when showering. It stayed straight.
 
Thanks ladies. I appreciate the love. I couldn't have done this without all of you lovely ladies of LHCF. You all have given me so much knowledge, motivation and inspiration.
