I ordered 2 synthetic lace front wigs! They both were 20 inches and I had to cut them down to size. They have elastic in the back and are so snug I dont need to sew in clips. Ill just add some bobby pins for security.

The first is a yaki synthetic in #2. I cut it in layers (Youtube video on that coming soon!) and used my curling iron to bump the ends. Will prolly bump them a little more in the morning. It looks like human hair and has absolutely no artificial shine. I actually like this one better than my human hair one.

The second is a bodywave in #2 that I had made from a light yaki and it is gorgeous! Its a tad bit shiney (Ill stick to strictly yaki next time) but I think I can tone it down with some baby powder. This one was easy to cut.

Looks good on you! Hows the lace on the synthetic compare to the lace on the HH?

These are swiss lace but the knots are not bleached. I dont think I can bleach the knots on synthetics so Im gonna get some Sally Hansen spray on leg to faux bleach them.

Keedah:
So you just pin them in and not glue/tape them in? What do you do about the lace in the front? Does it show?

Are they custom to your measurements, or is it one size fits all? Is it uncomfortable? I know you said it was snug so you didn't need any pins. Is this the kind you have to glue? They look good, I really like the first one.

Please share. I looked at one - actually tried it on without the glue/tape and wasn't sure about the mesh/lace in the front. The clerk wasn't much help with that either.

Loving the yaki synthetic!! It does no have that crimped hair look like other attempts at a yaki synthetic. Unless someone is all up in your scalp, they would not know that was not your hair. I cannot tell in the photo that the knots are not bleached.

I think it's great that you got two wigs so you don't have to actually curl the yaki.

Hey guys!
I ordered the wigs from a Chinese vendor named Holly. She is really on her game cause I paid for my wigs on Saturday, on Monday she put the curl in the light yaki, they shipped on Tuesday and I received them on Wednesday. Her website is www.wigsandclosures.com

Its a standard medium cap and it is comfortable. The elastic in the back is adjustable like on a regular wig. I think if I put a bodywave in a regular yaki it would be absolutely gorgeous. And Im surprised I was able to cut the yaki so good.

I was thinking about putting in a bulk order and selling some just because the shipping is so high. $30 for 1 wig but she doesnt raise the price when you order multiples.

Yup thats what Im gonna do. The wigs have wefts in the back so Im gonna stick a few pins back there and put one at each temple. I cut the lace all the way back and put powder makeup on the part so it really doesnt show unless someone is all in my scalp.

Ooh thanks for sharing. I love the yaki on you it looks so cute. That cut came out nice.

Ladies don't sleep on the synthetics- you hit the nail on the head, I am not trying to take care of two heads of hair.

I was gonna get one from Holly about a month ago. She didn't have the bodywave in the length I wanted. She offered me a nice human hair one for $160! I didn't get it though.

They look good on you. :yep:

I made a video on the cut

Yea Hollys prices are on point.

SelfStyled Im hoping the bump stays on the synthetic so I dont have to style it. My human hair one I spent like 15-20 min flat ironing every morning and the days I didnt you could tell :(

If I get a human hair its going to be a kinky straight so I can blend it with my hair.
