Just curious, I've tried to read thru the thread but it's nearly impossible. I've been thinking about trying this with protein powder instead of the egg. I'm a little chicken. Thanks in advance ladies. :yep:

Sorry I don't have a picture but you truly cannot taste the egg. I was a little leary at first but I made a protein shake like I normally do but cut the protein in 1/2, then added a egg and it tasted normal. It won't take long to see results and once you do, you will feel better about drinking a raw egg. Seriously, it's all mental. If I didn't add the egg myself, I wouldnt know it was in the drink. You can mask the taste of shakes in general with fruits, flavored syrups etc.

Give it a try :)

Hmmm, yeah that's the general feel that I got from reading thru some of the posts in the original thread, that you can't really taste the egg. But I always thought there were other health risks involved with raw egg consumption, like bacteria and such. Am I wrong?

It's a secret society. I haven't seen results yet:lachen:

Nope, nothing secret about it. :look:

We are scheduling a reveal in April/May...there have been some pics, though, maybe some of the Egglettes will post their pics in this thread. We chose that date because the creator of the drink said to wait at least 6 months to get a real feel of what the cocktail's results will be. For most of us, six months is in April or May....

Everyone has posted about great results and not just in the growth area. The thread is H-u-G-e, we know, but we're just all so excited and supportive and we get so many new Egglettes everyday!

Glad to see there are so many interested in our results. If you'd like more info, feel free to pm me.

And yes the cocktail is :lick: and no, noone has gotten s:sick:ck from salmonella, thank God.

HTH!

I do not take pics but, my results thus far have been great! I am seeing quicker growth. my hair grows slowwww. when i wash weekly i can see a difference. i do not mind the egg. you cannot taste it! plus, i mix it with green powders. i am pretty sure my growth rate has doubled. i am natural and do not straighten but, i do twist my hair. everytime i retwist, my hair is a little longer! i just replace my regular breakfast with a shake mixed with green powders/pills! except on weekends..i love grits...

Thanks for the responses ladies and it's good to know that everyone seems to be benefiting from this and that noone has gotten sick. LOL

Nope...no sickness at all. I have been drinking the shake for weeks now and no issues at all. I think some ladies did consider using eggwhites or powdered eggs or something to eliminate the possibility of getting sick from the raw egg. You can check out the thread though and see how those ladies made out with going that route. :)

Hope this helps !

I love grits too! I like to add cheese....where I'm from we eat fried fish witrh grits and it is good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.....yummy!! I know some folks think it's weird, but hey- to each his own. I love it!

Don't have nothing to add but Egglettes is a funny word :lachen:
We thought so too.....lol~

Girl, those grits on the weekend keep me from having my beloved cocktail....i gotta restrain myself...cheese grits and good, sweet grits are better....LOL!

I got really good growth from it. Unfortunately, stress made me break out in hives and I've been afraid to do the cocktail until I completely heal.:ohwell: Once I heal, I'm back on the raw cocktail again!:yep:

OMGosh! That happened to me, but it was an allergic reaction to hand creme. I hope you feel better. Natrl.

I just started a month ago... i haven't joined the thread because it was to long to read so i'm a silent partner sort of speak. I like it.. and the egg in not noticeable. My reveal day will be in June.
HTH

so are people generally using raw eggs that you crack outta the shell OR those fake eggs ie: Eggbeaters etc.
I think I'd be more comfortable using the fake egg products since those are at least pasteurized.

...I am using just a raw egg, no eggbeaters or anything like that for me. Fresh, raw eggs are working great. I have been drinking my shakes like this for weeks now and all is well.

Br*nzeb*mbsh~ll,

What was the name of the book you discovered?

And... how are you all fairing weightwise? Any changes?

me~

No secret society here. I have growth pics that i'm tracking but honestly, a very bad perm and stress had my hair 'tore up. Anyways, i normally get about 1/4 inch of growth but last month, i got over an inch. I posted pics of the growth with my cornrows stretched in the 'waistlength thread'. Here are a few pics to show my growth. I took them with my camera phone so the quality isn't the greatest but the growth is there. I'm starting with short, natural hair so i'm also looking forward to seeing my results in 6 months but here is my 1 month comparison.

The first pic (face erased-bit shy:blush:) is my starting point. The second pic is after one month. Even the texture of my hair hair has changed. Both pics were after washing and blow dried. The third pic is the back of my hair stretched after 1 month of drinking the cocktail. I don't have a comparison pic for before but I will compare this way from now on.

Br*nzeb*mbsh~ll,

lp,

Br*nze may have missed your inquiries.

Here a link to the book:

As far as weight, most of the ladies that stick to the original recipe haven't had issues with weight gain. Others appear to be loosing weight. I know the thread is looooooooong. I assure you it is worth the read, though...:yep:

ETA: I started the shake in Dec 08. I attribute the growth between siggy pic 2 and 3 to the egg shake, though I openly admit to using other growth aides in conjunction. HTH.

Jump in with blender in hand! No secret hand shakes or code words required. LOL!
