I am still using this on my hair as well as my daughter's hair. The only conditioners I have used my sea salt in is Trader Joe's Nourish and Spa Conditoner and my Pantene Relaxed and Natural Deep Conditoner mask. They don't foam, they use get really soupy. It makes my hair as well as my daughter's hair so soft and manageable. I alos tried the sea salt in my bentonite clay, it really liquifed the clay. The results were great.

I love the Kizzle Fizzle!!! I know it's Kiya Fizzle but my Snoopisms overtake me sometimes. lol I was doing this everytime I poo'd or co-washed so I think I was overdoing it and am going to take a break. But this find is like the best thing since slice bread IMO!!!

I noticed that the concoction works best with a conditioner that contains citric acid. I dunno what it is, but the conditioners that don't have it separates.

I haven't done it at all this winter because iI haven't co-washed (I cowashed for the first time today but it was a spur of the moment thing so I didn't really bother with getting the salt) but I'm DEFINATELY going to do this during the summer when I cowash my hair 4-7 times a week! Ah can't wait for the nice warm weather to come and kiss me!

:yep: Exactly. If you use baking soda, you have to use some sort of acid with it - it'll foam because of the chemical reaction, and you'll end up with salt, water, and gas..... straight salt is a shortcut, really.

Now I understand why the Cherry Lola (www.cherrylola.com) Treatment works.

Its Baking Soda mixed with Yogurt (Alkaline and Acid) along with the Amino Acids.

It's all clear now.

Thanks OP and JustKiya.

Testify! Is still KF every 6 weeks or so. I also find that a KF before a rollerset or flat iron helps with the str8tening process for me. It helps my hair to lay smooth...

BUMP!! I'm diggin this with my new find, L'Oreal Vive Pro Hydragloss Conditioner. First time I tried the Fizzle was last night....I could get addicted to this.

Doin' the bump for newbies...I forgot about this then remembered it last night after a week long battle with my new growth and tangles. And of course the tangles melted and I was able to comb through the NG from root to tip..Excellent!!!!

I haven't been on LHCF for almost 3 months and I'm glad I saw this thread! Thanks for reminding me just how great the Kiyafizzle is!:yep:

Yeah, I think this is one of those threads that's good to bump up every so often. It's good for relaxed heads and naturals.

I wrote down the recipe, but forgot to try it. I might indulge in this for fun next week. I just washed my hair, so I'll have to wait a bit...I try to keep the manipulation down to bare bones.
