Ok guys you know I have been driving everyone nuts for months ...looking for the right relaxer and not being able to decide if I should relax bone straight or texlax!I finally decided to use Mizani Butter blends in Normal strength!
Since I usually live in Germany and took a trip to Mount.Vernon NY to visit my man, I decided to take the time and do my hair in the states cuz the germans really have no damn clue! After posting several threads and looking for a suitable hairdresser in NY maybe even in Mount Vernon (you guys were great BTW)I recievied many comments about hair salons and about Not trying out any in Mount vernon, I decided against it and went to the salon where my boyfriends sister always goes to she has gawwwgusss hair btw...The Name of the salon is cocos and they did a great job they really took thier time and my results were fantasic I also noticed alot of s went there who had bsl and longer healthy hair!
I would definatley recommend Mizani to everyone my hair looks and feels healthy has alot of body and is extremly moisturized... I left the relaxer in for only 12 min so my hair is still really really curly but when I rollerset and wrap it its a dream! I was really insecure about my hair in the begining cuz I thought it was not straight enough I wanted to do a corrective but now I really love it !

Thanks to all the ladies who helped me on this Journey I will post pics soon!

Did you use the lye version? I am curious to know because I want to do a small corrective on my hair with a lye relaxer. I have been a long time no-lyer. TIA

I just tried the MBB relaxer normal as well about 1 month ago, but I had the exact opposite result. 2 weeks after I used it my hair hair started thinning out. I don't know why this happened and I am so frustrated, because I recently did the BC and had very very full BS length hair. Now my hair so thin that you can almost see through it. :( (I'm not sure what happened. My hair got really dandruffy and started falling out. Also immediately after I used the relaxer my hair was visibly thinner even though I didn't notice any hair loss during the relaxer. I have very fine hair, but I have a lot of it, possibly the oils in the relaxer could have weighed my hair down?. That still doesn't explain the sudden hair loss, however.) I bought the big tub and I definitely won't be using it again. If anyone is interested in buying the tub from me, let me know. It was only used once.

Where did you get the tub from? Did you get it from the local BSS? If so, then that could be the problem because it could be a bad batch.

I agree... every time i go to a BSS, i notice the tubs of relaxers look really old, you can never tell how long they've been on the shlef. i told myslef that when i relax i would use it, but i was only going to let a professional put it in.
