I ruined it!!! The edges of my flat iron are puffing up.

Darn! I got a great blow out & flat iron on Tuesday and ruined it this morning by using too much water based moisturizer. I had been using just coconut oil for a few days....but got the bright idea to use a water based moisturizer this morning before leaving for work.

The back of my pinup does still look cute....but with puffy edges along the front:perplexed

ETA - I had no idea that the photos were so huge. They did not look that big on the blackberry.

A little oil on those edges and put a scarf on may just smooth it right up.

I use Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade and it works wonders.

So, is it a hot mess? Are photos showing, from blackberry.

Next time try a few drops of serum mixed with a few drops of oil. It produces a great result for me. I like the pin up though.

Totally fixable when you get home. Have you tried that Stick from Sally's??? It is like the Tancho stick....

It keeps my edges unfrizzed....

Coconut oil+brush+scarf. Waxes and the sort make it worse for me. The coconut oil will stretch it out some.

It's not too bad, just looks like you got some new growth.

I got a small section in the front of my hair wet when mine was flat-ironed, so there was a whole fuzzy patch of hair on just on side of my head. I know it was bad, but I had to straighten that out with my little curling iron. :nono:

I think your hair looks beautiful. I just see gorgeous texture. It's not as bad as you think. Mine looked like Fredrick Douglass the other day
