Hits: Jane Carter Nourish and Shine- Soft shiny/sheeny hair
Lekair Shea Butter Cholesterol --Nice DC. Not my holy grail but for 2.99 it's pretty decent for moisturizing and DCing

Hit: Reshma Henna - When i mixed this henna after the dye release it got so creamy and awesome! It's even better than the Yemen henna I got from mehandi.com! I mixed some Amla and Brahmi with it so we'll see how it coolors my hair when i rinse it out!

Hits
Komaza H2O plus
Coconut Cream/Yogurt treatment (not a relaxer)

Misses:
Komaza Intense deep treatment - Had to use a ton of it and it didn't "slip" over my hair until I added Jessicurl TooShea.

Hit--I know this is ghetto but I didn't have any rollers with me while I was at my friends house. I used old newspaper strips and curled my hair. It worked, I woke up with soft bouncy, beautifully defined curls.

hits:
Jason's natural apricot keratin conditioner:lick:
Mills creek keratin conditioner:lick:
both are for DCing

Desert Essence Coconut lotion used on my ends, I love the smell:lick: It smells like the beach.

Hits:
GVP NEXXUS Humectress
GVP Paul Mitchell The Conditioner
GVP Paul Mitchell The Detangler
GVP Biolage Conditioning Balm
GVP Hair Reconstructor (Joico)
GVP Redken Extreme Anti-Snap Leave In

All purchased with the 2 for 10 Sally GVP sale..

HIT:

Komaza Shea Butter Hair Lotion as a leave-in!!!!!!!!!!!

I already posted this once, but now that I am really using it consistently, I really love this product! I thought I would never find something to replace my Qhemet Olive Cream Detangler.

The Komaza is less greasy than the Qhemet, which is fine, and actually a pretty nice change.

It has the potential to be heavy so a little goes a long way. I am very happy and my hair smells soooo good.

It has the EXACT same scent as End All by Hair2Heaven, which I never cared for. But using this on my wet hair as a leave in left my hair smelling like Honey Vanilla. One of my "special friends" could not stop smelling my hair - he was all over me!

My very own Divasmooth/caramel/kiyafizzle conditioning mix! Soft, easy to detangle hair with lots of moisture without being greasy!

Keracare silken Seal liquid shine-OMG this stuff made my hair so blingy!! Best of all it didn't weigh my hair down either!

ETA---Goody So Hot Flat Iron comb! Great for only $5, I like it because it forces me to flat iron the right amount of hair. It combed out the knots and I believe made my flat ironing results alot smoother. I only wished the teeth weren't spaced so far apart.

Revisited Hits

Ojon Ultra hydrating shampoo---although it does not give me that slip that I like, I cleansed effectively and my hair was easy to detangle while feeling stronger.

Ojon Revitalizing Mist--LOVE IT!

FHI Runway! Yes I cranked it up all the way to 450 degrees cause the NG was so packed! In one or two swipes--softly curled, silky straight hair! Worth every penny!

FHI hot sauce and Sabino Moisture Block mixed together as a heat protectant! Love this combo! Although I like Sabino it has a tendancy to dry out my hair, combining it with the Hot sauce (which is moisturizing on my hair) did the trick. I got the moisture and the heat protection...my hair was very silky and feels so soft.

Joico Moisture Recovery Poo
Joico Moisture Recovery Conditioner
gvp Biolage Conditioning balm

woooow. I wasnt a firm believer of Joico, but now i am. Its gooooooood stuff!...and I'm really impressed with the GVP balm. Biolage products never really worked with my hair...but this generic version does!

On the fence
GVP Conditioning Balm
--Not enough slip. Just decent results so far. I'm pretty much unimpressed.
I'm not giving up on it though. I'm gonna mix it with some honey and/or EVOO. But by itself :nono:

Aphogee Keratin & Green Tea Restructurizer- Good stuff

Miss:
Hairveda Whipped Shea Aloe Mousse- Good for the skin, my hair hates it!
Hairveda Moist Condition Pro or 24/7- They seemed too thin for my hair
Hairveda Amala Cream Rinse- I like a little sud, and I got no suds with this product. I had to use too much product to made my hair feel clean too.

The jury is still out on:
Mega Tek- I've only been using it for a week or two
Shescentit Banana Brulee- Its an ok product, but I think I like Hairveda Sitri better.
Hairveda Whipped Cream- I haven't found the right use for this product yet. It seems a little too thin for my hair.

Am I a certified PJ yet? :cup:

the amala cream rinse......i know she markets this as a creamy poo...but IMO...its better used as a detangler. i didn't get any cleanliness from this product either. HOWEVER...i did use it when i was 17 weeks post (in which i have to section to wash)...and it did an AMAZING job with detangling. so now that's all i use it for!....i use it the same way as a regular old dominican rinse.

Keracare Oil Moisturizer with Jojoba oil
Hard Mesh rollers for straighter roots deep into relaxer stretch

Does this poo make your scalp tingle like the conditioner? I LOVE co-washing with the ABBA Moist Conditioner because of the tingle.

today i ordered:

avocado butter
silk peptide powder

from fnwl.

i've used avocado oil (and love it)
so, i wanted to see if i would like the butter the same or better

i've also wanted to try silk amino acids or silk peptide powder
so i finally dove into that.

...we'll see what happens when they arrive

Miss
-Silcon Mix (realized it was making my hair soft, but no real nourishment):nono:
-Silicon Mix/with protein (blue one;nothing like the original;just sat there)

You put my feelings about this perfectly into words. I can see why it would be mixed into a dominican cocktail. It needs more goodies. I wanted to try it though, so I guess I did.

Hmmm...I thought I was alone in this. It was just ok for me too. It's very thick and creamy but didn't give me as much slip or moisture like I thought. Suave Humectant does a better job for me.

The honey/oil combo sounds like a try.

HITS:
GVP CB (CONDITIONING BALM)
MENDEX HAIR REPAIR TREATMENT

MISS:
JOICO K-PAK IT WAS GOOD THE FIRST TIME I USED IT THOUGH

miss: hot oil treatments. my hair just does not like it. and using vatika oil, which i love, was no different.

Hits---

Aubrey Organic White Camellia conditioner!!!! OMG this stuff made my hair soooo moist and soft! Love it! Kicking myself for not trying it sooner! I'll be using this whenever I need to restock on my OJON products.

Revisited Hits

ABBA Moist conditioner---love it!
Ojon revitalizing mist---I just love this stuff!
Lottabody cream setting lotion--provides a nice hold yet hair remains soft, very nice!
Aphogee 2 minute reconstructor--will always be apart of my regimen! Leaves my hair so soft, detangles well too.

An unfortunate MISS:

ORS Replenishing Conditioner/Pak - I love pre-pooing with this stuff. But since I started using it weekly, my scalp had been ON FIRE. Just itching and irritated. I decided to cut back on some products to find the culprit and after 2 washes WITHOUT using the ORS RP as a pre-poo - NO ITCHING.

I am going to have to stop using it.

MISS:
Doing henna treatments too much. I think I got too happy at it helping me eliminate breakage and did it weekly for 3 weeks. Um, that was too much. The first and 2nd were okay, but that 3rd took my hair to another level. :spinning: I think I will stick to once every 3 weeks or stop adding in extra protein (I used Marine Collagen in my mixture)

Surprising HIT:
Trader Joes Nourish Spa shampoo - great sulfate free clarifying shampoo. I would not use this as my regular shampoo, but a a first lather shampoo. I liked it.

Revisted Hit:
Kenra Platinum shampoo for Thick/Coarse hair - I used this back in the day before I was able to determine what a HIT or MIS was for my hair. I decided to try this again in the hope of going sulfate free and this one is really great. :yep:

ORS Pak was a big miss for me too. It left my hair feeling so coated--that stuff isn't moisturizing at all.

On the Fence: NTM Cream Lather Shampoo. Idk, it's okay. Something about the name made me hope for CON Shampoo-Like results. My hair wasn't super dry when I rinsed, but it definitely wasn't moisturized.
