Has anyone bought this? I am looking into buying this and just wanted to know if any of you have seen it and would care to give a little review...

I bought the DVD and although I have yet to do a "perfect" rollerset I can say that it is worth it. She is very thorough and you can clearly see how she sections her hair and she even gives you pointers on how to properly position the clips.

Also, if you do a search for rollersetting video or DVD you are bound to find plenty of reviews. I'm at work otherwise I'd do it for you.
HTH!

I have it, and it's great!!!

I was very rollerset challenged before getting the dvd, now each set comes out better and better! I'm no pro, and I still need to perfect my technique (can't get my ng straight for NOTHIN!!!) but I've come a looooong way from when I first started!

Macherie answered every question I had (where to place the clips, how to place the rollers, how to do a saran wrap, how to blow out the roots etc)

It really is a great tutorial, she goes from how to properly wash and condition to rollersetting to how to keep up your curls.... It's great, and you won't regret getting it! :yay:

Thanks to both of you! I think I will go ahead and get it. I have been using the rollers with the snap covers because I just couldn't get the clips to stay in straight.

i brought it: my rollersets use to make my hair poofy: and not all the way untangled: i brought macherieamour's dvd and my rollersets came out perfect: i'm talking silky straight hair even at 12 weeks post relaxer.

Several of us bought it, I'm sure Macherieamour got PAID:grin:

It's a great DVD, very informational. I got the best rollersets and wraps after watching it. The best hair porn I've seen:lachen:

I just wanted to bump this thread because I posted before about not being able to rollerset my hair and going to the salon once a week; a few ladies recommended this dvd and I just want to thank whoever recommended it to me. I ordered it on amazon as an on demand video so i can just watch it on the computer instead of having to wait for it in the mail...It's great!!!

I just finished rollersetting my hair and I wasn't feeling too confident while under the dryer but when i took my rollers down, i was amazed; It looked like i went to the salon and I'm 8 weeks post so that's a big deal for me...just flat ironed my roots and my hair is so soft and bouncy!!Love it

Yes Ma'am,

I watched and practiced. Each time it get better. Hey, if the stylist can do it we can to. It just takes patience and determination. I refuse to give away my hard earn money any more.

I hear ya...I invested so much in my hair products including that Pibbs...I won't be stepping into a salon again...(well, except for touch-up days:grin:)

I am seriously considering getting this, and I am extremely anti-roller set. It takes FOREVER for my hair to dry so I haven't gotten one in over 10 years, and my curls are BEYOND tight.

Now to think about getting a Pibbs...

I'm glad I got this, even though I haven't watched it yet. I used to attempt rollersetting back in the day, but I got lazy and didn't do a good job. I will try again, hopefully this DVD will help.

I bought it and it is great! My rollersets always come out well now, thanks to learning how to use "tension" & clip placement to keep my rollers in tight and achieve smooth curls.

It was worth the money. I thought about selling it, but I want to have it as a reference later.

I have it too and she gives great tips and techniques. I'm still learning how to position the clips - I have the hardest time with them. :spinning:

I'm a whiz at the snap-ons though ...

I have it, and I've watched it twice. But for me, I realized that I just wasn't getting the magnetic rollers thingie, so I'm having to switch to the ones with the snap-on covers. I tried a rollerset on Tuesday with the magnetic rollers, and it just isn't working for me. So, once I've restocked my roller stash with the other rollers, I'll see how that works. Other than that, she gives really good tips and she has really pretty hair. All in all, the DVD really isn't that bad. I liked it.
