I :heart2: LeKair Cholesterol Plus. I've tried lots of others, Silk Elements, Lustrasilk, Hollywood Beauty, Queen Helene. But the peach LeKair is my favorite and long time deep conditioning staple. :yep:

I see that you've tried them all and that you voted for LeKair as well as most people. Is Lekair's thick like Queen Helene?? I find Lustrasilk to be sort of watery, and I like QH, but it has mineral oil in it. Looking for a substitute.

I have the Lustrasilk shea and mango cholesterol in the tub, so this is probably the old version...but i have tried it once and it definitely strengthened my fragile hair strands...however i didn't really like the consistency of it and it also seemed a little watery....but i really wanna try Silk Elements Mega Cholesterol!!!

Don't let me promote the PJism, but I think you'll like.

LOL the PJism is all ready growing on me slowly but surely:grin:...i just wanna find whats the best product for my hair so i can build up a regimen of some sort:yep::yep:

There's just something about the the sound of "SILK ELEMENTS" (not to mention all the raves about it!!) that just gets to me!!!:lachen:

LeKair is quite thick, but in a different way than Queen Helene. The QH is a creamy thick and the LeKair is a pudding like thick if that makes any sense at all... :look:

The Lustrasilk Shea Butter one is definitely a little watery, its the only one off the top of my head I can think of that doesn't contain mineral oil though.

Thanx Lionessa...so I take LeKair has mineral oil too? I'm about to give up on running away from mineral oil, especially in my wash out products..it seems I just like to many of them!

I like LeKair PLUS so far, will try the Lustrasilk once I finish this one off.
LeKairs makes my hair really strong...

I didn't read the other favs yet, but I have found my hands down favorite Cholesterol. It's Silk Elements Cholesterol. :reddancer: OMGoosh, try this stuff. Tangles don't stand a chance and my hair feels so soft!!

I was a cholesterol snob but since using the Silk Ele, I have purchased many other I plan to try out.

*The carrot and shea butter is next on list. I have them sitting waiting in the wing. :curtain:

I've been wanting 2 try the SE for awhile now, I'll pick some up soon

I bought LeKair Cholesterol Plus this week, but haven't used it yet. Dickey (from Hair Rules) said cholesterol is really good for natural hair.

You're welcome, Lava. :) Yes LeKair has MO, but please don't let that stop you from using it, it's wonderful! :yep:

I used to always be familiar with Queen Helene's because that's what my mother used on me when I was growing up but now I prefer Lustrasilk Shea Butter and Mango..for $2 a tub, it's a great value..

I do want to try the Silk Elements one though...

I've always used Queen Helene. Now I've grown to like Proclaim Cholesterol. I use it as a prepoo overnight. My hair comes out real soft and moisturized.

Lurkin cause my Queen Helene brand is almost (1/2) gone and I was wondering if I should repurchase ( I love it) or try the Silk Elements brand cause I love SE products to

Yes and it was very helpful I ended up buying the SE version from sallys today its uber thick, creamy and it smells delish:)

LustraSilk Aloe Vera is LUSH - it costs the equivalent of about $2 here in the UK!!!!! It's really moisturizing, good for a pre-poo. I also have the Keratin one, which I use for a protein treatment.

Recently ordered Queen Helene bc of good reviews here on the forum and Mirpur Aloe Vera Cholesterol Hair Conditioning Treatment. Will update when I have tried these.

I love the Lustrasilk Mango+Shea Butter Cholesterol mixed with honey, olive oil, and castor oil all heated together. My hair never fails to feel soft and it has excellent slip.

I heard this mentioned in another thread but ill ask it here as well. Does anybody ever use cholesterol as their leave in?
