Very pretty and NATURAL looking...most weaves I see, just nicely installed but still fake looking. Your install is the way a weave is supposed to look in my opinion.

Would have thought you were posting pictures of your flat iron review or the fact that you are officially BSL.

Wow!

It's very nice and blends in really well. Goddess is a great "packaged hair" brand for those looking to weave their hair. I've never had a problem with them.

Looks so natural too, very pretty

So I went today to have my second full-head weave done. She left out a u-shaped section at the top so I can switch my part, and a perimeter all the way around the edges so I can wear it up.

I used Goddess Remi this time around - 14" on the bottom and 12" on the top in colour #2. It's much finer and sleeker than the Black Diamond was....I was told at the hair shop that Black Diamond and Bohyme (sp?) had switched manufacturers and there'd been complaints about quality since.

So what do you guys think? :drunk:

It's gorgeous and looks very natural. From 1 weave wearer to another - baby that hair that's left out.

:yep: I am doing my best! I noticed with the last weave the edges didn't get any shorter, but they didn't get much longer either. The hair that was braided gained 1 1/2 - 2". So that right there shows the difference protective styling can make for me!

I only flat iron the left out parts 1X a week - maybe once every week and a half and with plenty of protection - I was pleased to see that my pattern matched that of the hidden hair which means I didn't have any heat damage

Looks fly and natural! What type of hair is that (yaki, euro straight)? What will ur regi be? How many months do u plan on rocking it? I have a problem keeping mine in for more than two weeks because I'm afraid to get the weave wet and it won't look the same again. I'm installing a weave myself (jan 16th to be exact) and that's the style I'm choosing because it will hide my nappy edges until my next relaxer (March 14th). Sorry for asking too many questions. I'm in the wig challenge and already I'm tired of my half wigs. I was looking at pictures of Solange and Vanessa & Angela Simmons and now I want a weave. But I want to keep it in for at least a month but need the right quality of hair. Hook a sista uuuuuuupppppp!!!!

I kept my first one in for 8 1/2 weeks. After washing it actually wasn't bad - kind of like wet relaxed hair. It would air-dry mostly straight, and I could go through it with a flat iron in large sections to smooth it out if I wanted. But I used straight hair - I don't know about textured weave.

Goddess Remi is "yaki" hair. I'm actually almost a year post relaxer - so the edges and top are just flat ironed to blend.

Thank You - I was actually really lucky to find the woman that does mine. She has a website (www.braidsweavesnmore.com), and she was offering a $95 first time customer special. I couldn't beat that!

i love it. makes me wanna get a weave again. how much was the hair?

The hair came to $130 total - I used 14" on the bottom, and then the girl at the BSS actually suggested getting 12" for the top b/c it would a: be cheaper and b: blend to make natural looking layers. You really can't tell I have two different lengths in. I think the 14" was around $70 and the 12" around $60 and the stylist charged $120 for the install. :yep:
