Hi Ladies,

I wanted to share my new install with AAMH KC hair. I haven't seen to many post here on AAMH so I thought I'd share my experience with vendor/hair thus far.

I am of course natural and decided to get kinky curly hair to try to match my hair as close as possible which is mainly 4a/3c cottony kinky curly texture. I decided to go with AAMH kinky curly.

Specs: 16" and 18" bought with 10% discount they are running until end of January (aamh.com)
Shipping Time: Order Wednesday Evening Jan 12th; Received Saturday Morning Jan 15th.
Installed: Same day Received
Total Cost w/Shipping: $210

The hair is gorgeous and soft.

Anyways, I did seal both sides of the weft and for the most part my tracks were folded. I used all 8oz for my install with perimeter and top leave out hair. I am in the midst of editing my other videos for my youtube as well.

I had to preplan the layout of the wefts so this next pic is just that (used bobby pins to hold it all together

The AAMH KC hair bundles were a natural black/brown so I did have to end up coloring the hair bright black to match my own hair which was Sunday. So far I really like this hair a lot. I can wear a high ponytail as well which I'm loving.

I plan to keep the install in for 8 weeks at a time. I have co-washed the hair twice and I only had shed hair on the 2nd co-wash which was the very small nickel size ball of hair including the shed hair from my leave out hair. I'm pretty happy with the hair.

My Youtube channel link is below. I am still new to the Youtube Hair Video sharing. My Youtube

Looks nice. I also had to color the hair to match my own as well but I did it while it was in my hair

Yea I had to color the hair while it was installed as well. I was hesitant about doing so because I didnt want to accidently not rinse it out properly and then cause a setback. LOL! But it all worked out for the good.

I was afraid of the same thing, but I washed it out a good amount of times and so far everything is fine. Keep us posted on how much it sheds throughout your 8weeks.

Pretty! I've been wearing this hair for the past year. I've re-used the hair about 4 times and plan on using it once more.

I have so many questions to ask because I want to order this hair. How long is the 18/16 on you? How did you blend? Did you blow it out?
All in all this hair is pretty. You are gorgeous!

Thanks for the positive feedback. I'm on my blackberry so don't know how to get the multiquote to act right.

To the above poster - the length is 16" for 4oz and 18" for 4oz I used both bundles. I am 5'2" so 18" on me is wl and 16" on top stops at bsb. I think this weekend I will do a blowout and maybe a flat iron as a youtube aamh series on my channel.

I will vlog my journey for the 8wks including shedding, styling and products.

I wish this hair came in lighter colors...I wonder is dyeing it a lighter color would cause frizziness or shedding like some of the other brands?

Anybody tried lightening this hair?
