I have used Surya Henna cream (black) once. I will never use it again, though. It was JUST like using a Semi-permanent hair cream like the ones by Jazzings or Beautiful Collection.
I have seen people sell premade Henna paste, but I would rather just mix my own so I know what's in there.
Just purchase some henna (cream consistancy) from sally's... just wondering anyone tried this before???
Last week I purchased a mixture of Alma and Shikakai powder, I am wondering will this be okay to mix the cream henna with the Alma and Shikakai powder mixture for a protein treatment (weekly, my hair loves protein)??? Plz any advice is greatly appreciated by MOI
From my understanding PURE HENNA comes a leaf which is then turned into powder form, and since Henna must sit for the dye to release & then stops working after a while. I would question if this was PURE, also ingredients must be added to preserve the premixed kind once liquid is added. This could mean it's not BAQ and could potentially contain metallic salts which are harmful to hair that has been synthetically dyed. Check out the answer I received on this page,http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=87256&page=3 also consider reading the thread in it's entirety before proceeding, there is a wealth of info in there.
