Henna Question

Okay I have decided to henna my hair after reading all of the benefits it has on hair also the fact that i can now dye my hair black with out using drying chems. I just orderd from Mehandi.com. 200g of Indigo and 200g of Henna. I want to know can I just use the Indigo or do I have use the Henna first . I sound confused cause I am. Is the Indigo henna already or is it just the pigment indigo. im so confused. Please help henna pro's.

according to the sheet that they send in your order it says:

Mix and Apply indigo and henna together for dark brown hair.
Mix indigo w/warm water let it sit for 1 min
mix together w/henna. the more indigo, the darker the brown
