Do you sign up for challenges that have requirements you already follow?

I'm just wondering because I was very tempted to join the Deep Conditioning Challenge until I realized I already DC 2x a week. I'm also debating whether or not there would be any sense to join bootcamp since I already avoid heat and trims, and I keep my hair in a low-mani style (WNG and sometimes twists). :perplexed

I don't. I only join if I need motivation to do something consistently, or if I need some support while trying to reach a goal. :yep:

I join challenges to do both: continue with what works for my hair and to try new techniques and proucts.

Well I tend to fall off sometimes so even if I'm doing it I need something to help motivate me to continue doing it.

Sometimes I do! Its always encouraging to join a challenge knowing that there are other ladies on the team right there with you. If you need support, or that extra push to remain consistent, you come here and the ladies in the challenge always know what to say. IF you already are doing most of what the challenge requires, then by still joining the challenge, perhaps YOU can be the person that I may one day need to hear the right words from....to keep me motivatied to stay the course...LOL!:yep:

If i do it with ease already then I would have to say no. But if the challenge will help me step up my commitment then sure, why not.

nope. I do most of this stuff already.

I only join challenges that correlate to my goals and my reggie. I do not set myself up for failure. Challenges that I would never join C&G because for me that would be setting myself up for all kinds of failures and setback. So I stick to what I do.

I join these challenges because they are a part of regimen. Because they would be easy for me to follow. Is it still a challenge for me? Yes, indeed. Because it helps me with my inconsistencies. Then the great part about it is (someone mentioned already) that you have all the other ladies around you encouraging you. It makes you wanna keep it up. It motivates you.

Hi Rosie, the whole idea of joining a hair challenge is the comraderie it presents. Lets not forget the support. We also learn a lot of what products others are using that are either giving them fantastic results or simply tearing their hair to pieces. That's where we come in - to support, make recommendations and offer help when we can. I truly enjoy challenges because of these reasons, you know? I also like the accountability to my hair buddies too.

i like to join the different challenges if i already do it or not because of the support you get from other wo:yep:men on the board and its great to see the progress made together.
