Has anyone noticed damage to their hair from using the Denman line of brushes?
Well...
I have splits too and I use the Denman. Since I only see the splits at the ends of my hair and I have about 3-4 inches of heat damaged ends, I figure they've always been there.
Please say it isn't so
After I trim at some point this month, I'm switching back to my seamless bone comb for a bit to test this out.
I'm going to miss it though...
R.I.P. Denman...
So....what does this Jilbere comb look like?
I stopped using it when I saw how much hair was coming out of it... and yes, I used it properly. Didn't use it enough to get any noticeable damage.
Yalls must have much stronger hair than I do. Denman + Neith =
SOUTHERNTEASE YOUR SIGGY PIC IS AMAZING!!!
Co-sign. I know others who say it's used for detangling, but I'm 4a and it's just not happening. I detangle with a wide tooth comb and now only use it for smoothening the curl (to air dry, or before pony setting to get a silkier result w/ the products I use). And I HARDLY use it for that either because I don't want to mess up my hair!!!!!You have to know how NOT to tear through your hair with it... I use it in sections from the bottom up after detangling with a wide tooth comb.
I was going to get the denman but I read good things about the Goody brush that's infused with Jojoba oil. I'm not sure if the bristles are really infused with oil, but I heard it causes less snags than the denman and when I saw it at Wal-Mart it looked like it was made differently. It seems like its made in a way that the hair won't get caught. If you're not completely ready to get rid of your brush you may want to try that one.
Nope. THe Denman can do no wrong in my eyes. lol
