I wanna flat iron my hair for my birthday or Christmas (only a few days apart) and my first attempt two weeks ago was a disaster my hair reverted before I got downstairs

I didn't do it...But, I can tell you what was done.

Yes my hair was blown out with a blow dryer and comb attachment. But, before that one towel dried hair I used sabino, fantasia ic heat protectant, and lustra silk hair culture solution spray. HAHAHA! I used everything.

I used about a nickle of sabino up front and a nickle in the back. I used about 2 quarters of fantasia everywhere. Lustra silk was sprayed everywhere and all the products where pulled through and comb through my hair.

Than she blow dried. No products were used for the press once the hair was dried. However when she added the curls she did spray sometype of product. I couldn't see but it was Vonte. I was breaking my neck to look too..
 
You did a great job on your hair. Well done. :) I"ll look over the rest of the posts and see if you explain what you did...

ETA: So it is possible. Your natural hair looks like mine and your press is really silky.
I agree with you about the knots/tangles on the ends. Because of them I didn't get to keep all my growth this year and I"m actually thinking of texturizing just the last 1" of my ends to stop the madness :lol:

Anyways..TMI but he was like sweet potato (that's what he calls me) I miss you natural hair...:lachen:

Men are so silly. Gotta go he is coming on tv in a minute.
