I rollerset, blowdried and plaited my hair in one big braid for work, then unraveled it.

You just let it grow, lol!!
Her hair is not that much longer than miine, and mine WOULD be that long if I would step away from the scissors, grrrrr...
My hair flat ironed is a wee bit longer than her hair here, so her hair flat ironed is probably waist length, which is where I should be at, but thanks to my scissors, am not.:perplexed

This is of topic, but you look too young to be a grand mother.... Well I am too. My twin grand daughters will be 1 in July. They came 3 months early. Here they are: http://public.fotki.com/1ariel/believe_it_or_not!!/

Back on topic... I love her hair and her fashon style, o' and her song.

Looks like we are exactly 1 year away from checking in with our natural hair length - April 9, 2009 is still the date correct?

Miss u mermaid!!!
I ususally don't let them loose, lol!
I kept them bound up somehow if my hair is curly, rarely do I let my hair loose if it's in it's natural state because the tangles are infuriating! From the tangles comes the breakage and I have had enough damage over the years to put up with it now! (It still hapens, though.)
Leave ins work best, but the natural ones like pure unrefined coconut oil and natural 7 oil- preferably mixed together, for me.
Near zero manipulation (uhhhhhh except for that scissor issue, but that's when my hair is ironed.)
I know this woman in the pics doesn't walk around with her hair out like that. It would be snagged up before she got to her car. It's clear she protects her hair with the fierceness!

That's Ishe. I asked her myself and she told me she lets her hair air dry and flat irons or blows it SLIGHTLY to make it more elongated. That's it!

I just don't see ladies walking around with natural hair this long. It's beautiful.

I missed this pic first time around. :lick: She lets it air dry how? Loose? Or in braids or twists? I would wear this in a minute if I had the hair. Well, considering the tangling, maybe it's more accurate to say I'd wear it for a minute? Nah, it would be worth it.

Not sure if it matters how she air dries it as long as it isn't dried with artificial heat.

Great length! Don't care for the "style" if you can call it that. She's dead wrong for them boots! Back to the hair, looks like it's in fantastic condition.

Dang, what did she say?? That was so long ago when I asked her....dang I really don't remember that part! But you can let it air dry in big twists or braids and do that style. That's what I did with my hair before flat ironing and it looked like that.

I agree,it looks blow dried, but nice. This is the look and length I want. Not so "big" but you get the general idea...
