After all my research on the posts, these two great products seem to be amongst the top choices for the relaxed heads like myself. Can we narrow in on this please?

I have never used Humecto, but I love AO HSR!!!! It is one of the few things that has consistenly been a staple in my regimen!

Humecto is getting trounced

I like humecto, but it doesn't leave my hair anywhere NEAR as soft and moisturized as AO Honeysuckle Rose.

Too much work trying to find the Humecto "tub" :look:. At least with HSR you know that it is what it is when you buy it. Great stuff!!

Can't wait to try it today!!! Can I find AO products at Whole Food Store?

Yes, but the vitamin shoppe is much cheaper. I think it's like 8 and change.

I Looooove AO Honeysuckle Rose. It's perfect for pure moisture !
To me it's best on wet hair, and to leave it in over night! So heavenly!

I've tried them both, but I would choose AO HSR over Keracare. Keracare has horrible ingredients. I will admit that somehow they have found a way to make it effective despite the crappy ingredients.

Thank you sooooo much. Moisture is what I need right now.

OT: Does anyone like the Proftective Leave-In

I'm almost done using up my Humecto tub (after 1 year) and I just bought AO Honeysuckle Rose yesterday and used it last night for the first time ever and it's AMAZING. It's very moisturizing. I took advise from other ladies on this board and mixed it with EVOO on wet hair and sat under the dryer with a plastic cap for 1 hour and um, um, um, :lick: my new pure moisturizing staple!

If you already buy your supplements on Vitacost.com check out the prices on the AO products. They are awesome and they have flat fee shipping of $4.00.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeee!!! Luvs my AO HRS! The amount of moisture and those natural ingredients just turns me on. I can't stop running my hand over my waves.

I have used both and AO Honeysuckle Rose wins hands down. Plus its all natural.

ETA : I guess I'm going to try it with the EVOO mix:lick::lick::lick:.

I just tried this last week on my natural hair and I love it! This combo left my hair moist with great slip action:grin: I have finally found the best shampoo and conditioner that works for my natural hair. This has cured my PJ sickness:bouncegre

I love vitacost! That flat shipping cost is very nice because I'll get lots of product and they deliver fast. Thumbs up on them.

On average....how long does everyone leave it on. The bottle says 15 min and unfortunately I don't have a hooded dryer. :(

If I'm not using the hooded dryer, I'll DC for like an hour while I do chores around the house...Sometimes I even put on a winter hat to speed up the heating process :look:

Poor KeraCare...I honestly would have loved to give the tub a try but who can afford that. THe bottle has been too liquid for me so far.

AO didn't do squat for my hair. So I gotta give this to Humecto. I see I'm in the minority here.

Quick question...I thinking I'm complicating myself...I'm going to use the AO for DCing...do I need to follow with a moisturizing conditioner or is that step suffice?

I have to join the AO club on this one...everytime I try to shave it off the list (being cheap) my hair suffers...
