I have loved her hair since ANTM.

I need to find some natural inspirations that have my hair type though.

huh? American is a nationality. Her heritage/ethnicity/ is half Brazilian and if her mother is Brazilian then it is pretty significant.

That's what I was kinda thinking. Even though I'm from St. Croix, my mom's family is from Dominica so that's what I claim.

ETA: Either way she has beautiful hair.

With all due respect, Yaya is not Nigerian-American, at least according to her own words as reported by Wickipedia:

I think that she probably is of Yoruba ethnicity in her blood line since her grandfather is Brazilian, and Yoruba is the major African ethnic group in that country. But she's not strictly Nigerian-American.

Anyway I could care less where she's from. I need to know her skin care regimen as well as how she does her hair. I remember reading in a thread here a long time ago that she might be texturized??? She is so beautiful and I'm glad that she didn't win ANTM because the winners haven't really gone on to do anything of worth, whereas she has done A LOT! :yep:

ITA with the bolded, I think I read some where that that why she considers herself Nigerian. She is not Nigerian-American. Her brother went to my school and if anything they are African American with mixed heritage (like most Blacks in this country). They do have Brazilian heritage and both speak Portuguese.
