Those that do not use shampoo or try to use it less often why is this?
For me, I did not use shampoo for several weeks on my natural hair and when I did last week it felt wiry and tough afterewards and it took a week of conditioning every other day to get it back to how it was
Can you suggest alternatives that can get rid of product build-up?

) The coils were so cute and I had less frizz more moisture but I was using shea butter and it was building up. Baking soda didn't seem to help with the conditioner(Hair One and Kenra MC) and shea butter build up so I went back to shampoo. My coils are gone now and my hair is frizzy. I use heavy cones now to control the frizz and seal moisture in so shampoo is a must but it definitely messes with curly girls' hair. For me it's a necessary evil. If baking soda and ACV rinses worked to remove cones I'd be in heaven!
