Thanks hun :ohwell:
I just trimmed my thin see-thru ends for the third time in two weeks :nono: it's now back in a bun with the ends baggied. I guess I'll be in nurture mode throughout the fall and winter months :wallbash: Thank goodness I am in the bun challange to keep me going and looking at my hair :nono:.

AWww, it's ok TLC :bighug:, we all have setbacks, and I know you feel like cutting, but don't if you don't have to. I say just keep nursing your hair back to health and it will come around, your hair is more resilient than you think!

Well think of it this way, you're starting with a fresh cut so when you come out of the buns your hair will be soooo healthy and strong :yep:

I'm still going strong, but since I don't use diect heat, and co-wash sometimes twice a week my hair has been looking kinda of frizz wet :ohwell:, and now my NG is getting so crazy from growing that it's getting hard to fingercomb/wide-tooth comb it back into a bun.

Should I go outside of my regular touch-up schedule and get a relaxer 9 weeks, I usually get touch-ups ever 10 to 12 weeks?

Nice to see everyone still hanging in on the challenge.

I'm still hiding as well-but everyday is a struggle.

I recently wore a twistout for 2-3 weeks straight and my hair matted up and I lost a lot of hair when I finally washed it.

School is very time-consuming and I think it was a combination of me not washing my hair for a month and spraying fantasia hair polisher spray caused major buildup. (I should know better than to not pile a whole bunch of that spray and instead used oils-I don't know what I was thinking :nono:)

So now my hair is braided in individuals away from my frustration-hopefully I get some good growth while I'm at it. Although everyday is a different story-sometimes I tell myself I will hide my hair until February 2009 and other times (like today, lol) I say I'm going to drop this challenge and reveal Dec 1st. I'm so confused.

still going but I'm on the approach of the hardest transitioning months (6-8) so I've been told so we'll see how it goes hopefully I won't break down and just BC it and reveal in Dec.

I am still hiding! I am trying to post pics of my new HYH style. I'll try later.

I'm still hiding. Just got another sew-in last week. I hope this pays off when I do my next length check in Jan.

Wow! I haven't checked in here since ever, I forgot that I was in this challenge. I have been faithful to hiding my hair though. I don't know any other way to go but hiding. I wear wigs daily.

I relaxed yesterday. OP, should I go ahead and reveal now? I don't think I'll straighten it again until sometime next year, probably when I perm again in 3 - 5 months. I didn't quite make BSL, but I'm still hoping for it by Dec 31, 11:59 a.m. :perplexed:ohwell:

Who's counting down-->Less than 50 days

before this challenge ends!!
:dance7::dance7: :yay::yay::bouncy::bouncy::circle::woohoo2::woohoo2::woohoo2::woohoo2::woohoo::woohoo:

I don't have braids anymore,but i'm still hiding my hair:yep:

When its curled up,its looks so much shorter than it really is,which is fine by me.

I have just perfected the rollerset, and i'm hella proud of myself!!!
No more poof balls, just actual curls:grin:

I took someone's tip of wetting the roller, and my ends have never come out so smooth w/o direct heat.

So i will be rollersetting and pinning my hair up w/ the ends under until the end of the year.

Still hiding. I am so excited to get my hair done in Dec. I miss my hair! I am having a hard time trying to figure out what I want to get done. I have not had a perm since May 28. At that time I got Phyto. I am thinking about trying the Linage Texturizer. I don't know! Nevertheless, I am so excited!

Still hiding. I think I will extend it a little past December to mid-January when I get my next relaxer. This 4-months of new growth is no joke.

I am still hiding with buns and head scarfs. My next touch-up is Jan but I will continue to hide until June:sekret:.

Although I did a rollerset I am still hiding my length as well... I can't wait to get a touch-up at the end of December... Currently I am 7 weeks post and so far so good :grin:

I'm still hiding with the UPA clip and half wigs. I can't wait until it's time to relax in December so I can see my length.

Currently in a bun. I may wet set tonight and wear it in a curly updo. It's hard getting used to my face with no hair, that's the only thing. :perplexed

Still hiding under this bob length wig...:) My newgrowth has given me major shrinkage (relaxer on October 9th so as it is November 7th making 5 weeks, 3 days post) I have been recording myself in the shower and I'm pleased when I look at the replay of my hair from the back under the water.

Hang in there ladies!! :yep:
~*JAnelle~*

I been going strong for 10 weeks, in a bun the whole tme!

SOMEONE please stop me. I think I'm about to use one of my passes-and I honestly didn't want to use any at all. I always come to this same point when dealing with my hair.

If its not braided up,(like it has been for a month) I want to straighten it.

aaaaaaaaah! :wallbash:

^^^ Good job on fighting off temptation.

I'm still bunning and finally getting used to my face w/o hair. This is so convenient and I will def continue. :yep:

I'm still bunning as well...
I'm using the NTM on my ends w/my hair wrapped around the ball and my hair is staying moisturized much longer than my previous moisturizer :grin::grin: I think this stuff is a keeper :grin:.
I want to do another rollerset set but I don't think it will look right w/me being 9 weeks post relaxer :nono: and also my rollerset don't last longer than 2 days :nono:..

I'm still going strong on my bunning and have been since july 26, 2008! In the last 3 weeks I been using MT, and wet bunning (thanks to tiffers). I had some problems with bad shedding, but that has been cut in half by using garlic pills. My hair stays damp all the time now, and I still been baggying my ends regliously!

I know that I am really late responding to this post because I am just not reading it. I just happened to stumble across this post because I am looking for a tree braider recommendation in Atlanta because I have been hiding my hair since August. I have done flat twists, cornrows, buns, and how I have a French roll. I want to go into the new year with tree braids so that I can start the Mega-Tek challenge.

I've been going strong with the bunning. I've resisted peer pressure trying to get me to where my hair down.

I think I'm going to try to hide my hair until MAY when I BC because flat ironing takes forever I can't do anything else with it so I think it would be best to just keep it under wraps unless I have to let it out for a special occassion or something...might start going to the salon to get a curl and set other than that won't be showing.
