Okay, I don't want to sound simple, but I truly don't know...what does this "Press-n-Curl" consist of? I'm in the South, so I'm wondering is this just a vernacular phrase, or what? Or is this a technique - different from "Pressing"? I didn't want to sound basic and ask the lady who mentioned it....please help a sista out! TIA, TIA!

- so don't mock me, people) *grin*.
Where are you from btw?
Most of the time, the curls would be small, tight, and to the scalp. I remember the stylist would section your hair off into no less than 50 small curls placed all over your head. Even after combing, the curls would hug your head so tight, the only way to get them to drop or comb into a stlyle would be to sweat them out.
This was the way to go, before perms became popular. I use to love them, tho! Back then, we didn't know what a flat-iron, or bumping was, cause it didn't exist!!
