I grease my scalp once a week with Lenzi Request...

I moisturize my hair about 2 times a week with Mizani H20 Nite Time Treatment...

HOw does mizani h20 work for you? I am so worried about the mineral content and petroleum that I have only used it once. Is it really good for hair? (my mind can be changed often!)

I moisturize my hair everyday with a leave in. I haven't put anything on my scalp in over 15 years.

I moisturised twice a day. I use ORS Carrot Oil for this but this might change to Elasta QP Mango Butter. I used to seal with Coconut Oil but I have found Almond Oil works a lot better for me now.

I used BT every evening and I treat my ends with optimum oil therapy ..they call it cream oil, though it doesn't leave my hair oily. So far it's been keeping my hair moisturized pretty well.

I moisturize everyday and grease every other when I have lots of new growth b/c it gets extra dry.Any suggestions on a good grease/oil for scalp.

I use Herbal Imfusions Carrot Creme because it's not greasy and moisuturizes your hair.
I usually seal it in with Barry Fletcher Liquid Moisture oil and it last for days without using daily.

Oooh, old thread. I voted that I moisturize every day, but my hair doesn't need it now, so I just moisturize twice a week.

2x a day for me to moisterise - i use a leave in conditioner, in the morn and eve.

I do scalp massages to moisterise my scalp about 2x a week.

I don't know if this counts as once or twice a day...

At night I dampen my hair and put a lot of conditioner in it. If it's cold I put a little grease (dixie peach, just because it reminds me of my childhood) or a thick moisturizer (hollywood beauty carrot creme) on the ends.

In the morning I dampen my hair and put oil in it.

I guess... it's twice since I am wetting my hair and getting water into it. But I only apply an actual moisturizer/leave in once a day.

My hair needs daily moisturising. Though I do it twice a day. In the morning just a dime size of oil to do my shake and gos for my braidouts and at night I use my moisturiser and oil seal. It's too dry to go without.

Best,
Almond Eyes

2 daily- in the morning with a water based moisturiser or leave in conditioner and seal with oil-in the evening I moisturise with a butter

I can't vote. I don't use grease, but I will use natural oasis pomade on my scalp after a rollerset if my scalp feels itchy or dry. Otherwise I will use an oil on my scalp. I moisturize morning and night to every other day depending on what's going on with it at the moment. I have to be sure to use it very sparingly to avoid being weighed down.

I don't use grease on my hair or scalp (except vaseline as a scalp base just before arelaxer) and I moisturize my hair everyday with Wave Nouveau mixed with some Wen fig conditioner and Premier Rehydrant spray shaken up in a spray bottle. I spray the mix in the palm of my hands, rub together and lightly distribute throughout my hair ends.

I used to seal it in with evoo but I don't anymore because it ways my hair down too much. When I feel a need for it, I would moisturize in the morning and again before bed. Some days are hotter than others down here in the Bahamas:yep:.

I dont grease, but I moisturize twice a day when wearing protective styles and once a day if I'm wearing it down.

I'm on a personal challenge to baggie, and bun every day for atleast a year, so I moisturize and seal 2x a day because I don't care if my hair is weighed down, it goes in a baggie and bun anyway. Since I use a lot of products and work-out 3x a week I have to wash/co-wash much more often, and clarify 2x a month. Once I get to my goal lenght I will be wearing my hair out more often and only moisture once a day.

I moisturize my hair every nite with cantu shea butter! it's the best ever. it doesnt leave my hair all greasy either. sometimes I will put a little doo gro on my edges. many people aren't fans of doo gro, but it has done my edges miracles!

OT: I really like the look of your thick black hair in your siggy. It's very nice and shiny too.
