I haven't had my hair down since the first week of August and I don't miss it because every night I braid it. I do have to say that I believe the benefits of keeping it in this style (bunning and updo's at all times) is alot better for my hair especially since I don't use heat. The curly do's are cuter to me up.

I have become just a "bunner" it seems lately so the only time I see it is on wash days. I may co-wash tonight because I miss it so much cause I don't want to straighten just yet. I should write a poem, "Oh hair how I miss thee" LOL, I'm trippin.

I haven't had my hair down straight since August 9th, I started back bunning on August 10th. The only time I wear it down is on sundays b/c that's my wash day and I put myself on a no-heat challenge til October, so I have been letting my hair air dry. So technically on wash day my hair is down but it's thick and full of shrinkage and when its dry I just pull it back into a bun. I can't wait til I do my touch-up next month I'll be 13 weeks post

Napp it's gonna grow back in no time and it will be natural the best of both worlds IMO

I'm getting my hair flat-ironed at the salon for the first time in 3 1/2 years and I am so excited. I've worn it out and down from time to time over that period but I am not very good at getting my hair straight. I am also going to get a trim. I can't wait. I am so tired of protective styling I could scream.

I need to find some new protective styles. I've been bunning but it gets boring after awhile. I've actually been pressing my hair about every 6 weeks or so, just to check up on it, trim split ends, etc. - but I long for that 6 week mark so I can wear it out!!! Those 5 weeks are hard though.
