TWEENS AND TEENS DISCUSSION BOARD

How many of us have lamented "If I knew back then, what I know now"!

I am interested in knowing how many of you would be in favor of a discussion board developed on this site for our younger members, 12 to 18 years respectively, so that they can empower each other with knowledge by sharing and encouraging each other on their respective hair goals.

For those of us who are (plus)+ with younger daughters, sisters, nieces, cousins...etc "show your support". It is my hope that "A LOT of tweens will visit and support a discussion forum "Just For Them".

Agreed. I don't think there are enough people here under 18 to warrant another forum. Not to mention, I think there are too many forums already.

I have a 9 yr. old I would love to discuss some haircare with other parents. I tried the coconut/lime "relaxer". She is natural and her hair is always dry.

You can go to the children's haircare forum for that Thats for all our baby's. Start posting in there and i'm sure you will get responses.

I don't think this forum has that many teens do to the membership fee. There are plenty of tweens and teens on a free hair board that I use to frequent, actually the abundance of teens is one reason I left that forum!

Sounds great to me I have an 11 yr old, that had damage last year.
I am attempting to teach her to care for her hair.

Wasn't there another teen discussion board here though? It was pretty large if i remember correctly!

I also don't think a teen board is necessary. I think the hair forum is good enough for all ages. Part of why we didn't know any better about hair care is because we were young and did not have the benefit of being educated by those who've already learned from their mistakes what is right. I imagine a bunch of teens left to their own devices will be no different from the way we were, believing whatever myths the folly of youth dishes out. I think teens would benefit from the wisdom of the older and wiser folks on this hair forum. I can think of one teen who blossomed into a beautiful, confident lady from the support she got on this forum. She is very different from the insecure, little girl whose self-esteem we all strove to boost.

What site is that? But yeah, It seems like a lot of us are 18+ with a growing number of 15-18 year olds. I don't really think t hey need their own forum, but a stick thread would be nice for the youngsters to the game. It would be a great support system for them to look at

Yea I was hoping they would make a teens board that would be nice. lol tooo bad im not a teen anymore lol. but they can discuss like prom and homecoming styles and stuff. And products that are afforadable for a teens budget.

I'm 18 and I don't really think their needs to be a discussion board directed towards us, but a sticky would be nice, I agree that teens helping teens probably wont get to far in their haircare journey, but vets helping teens will definitely work.
