Ladies what do you do with your side burns? Mines are like 1 1/2inches stretched and about 1/2inch wide.

:sekret: I've got sideburns too. I used to really paranoid about them especially around the time of the anti-Ashanti sideburns movement, so I always had my hair covering them. Since then I've had them threaded; big no no!:nono: I broke out with little bumps (hair follicules i'm guessing) I've decided to get them lasered. Best option IMO

I went into hiding then too, lol. Are you ashame of them? I have never really been. I was just wondering is this a usual length for them and how do people style them, lol.

Mine are quite long too. Most of the time I try to hide them by covering them or slicking them back with the rest of my hair, but this week I'm representing Memphis for Elvis Week; it's the only time I can get away with it! Uh-huh :yep:

Mine are probably the same length as yours, but are wider and cover more of my cheeks if that makes sense. The hairs are super fine and straight like babyhair .One observant gentleman randomly pointed to my sideburns on the bus and said 'babygirl you've got loadddssss of babyhair' :lachen: I'm not ridiculously ashamed of them;they're not on the same scale as chewbacca or anything lol I just want them to be neater. As styling goes, can't do much with them apart from a quick brush here and there.:ohwell:

Sweetie, I would kill for that! Lol, mine are LONG, and at least, 4Z and thick. I couldn't do it, they looked horrible with almost any style, I shaved them.

I have "wavy" side burns that go all the way down to my cheeks  I used to be ashamed of them but now i just smooth them down a lil bit right along with my forhead full of baby hair :nono:

i forget i have sideburns until some one compliments me on them; LOL!....never thought negative about them. i'm fine with them...and they are just like the OP; long and fine like baby hair

HHAHAHAH mine are freaking long too!! What I do, is I trim them down with siscors. but they are long and thick, but soft like baby hair as well. My husband likes them. He kisses them when they are thick. I frigging hate them, and I got teased a lot for them in schooL LOL.

I forgot about mine too until I saw this thread! Now I'm going to check them out in the mirror...

I don't look like teen wolf are anything, lol. For the ladies who keep their side burns, do you condition and brush them? I do:blush:lol.

Awwww! A thread about sideburns!!! How funny is this. A place where I belong!!! LOL Anywho, my sideburns are fine, silky, and long. Kinda wavy. At first I kinda had an "eh" attitude towards them. But back in highschool I embraced them whole heartedly and now they're a signature of mine. I wouldn't be me without em!!! They're almost always slicked in place with a tiny bit of gel.

my side burns are kind of weird...i've noticed one side has 'baby hair' but the other is complete opposite. I think it's because i tend to neglect my my sideburns, and don't put conditioner on them like the rest of my hair sometimes. But they're not a problem though.

I have sideburns also, I attempted to clip some hair however it came back curly and darker....so now I am too nervous to do anything about it.

I've got plenty...luckily they are soft and lay down. I just brush them down whenever I think about it and keep it movin'.

I trimmed mine because I didn't want to look like Macy Gray wif poke chop sideburns. :look: (you had to see undercover brother)
