Okay, so I'm taking the big plunge finally. I am going to use the JET BLACK COLORSHOWER in my hair. I'm VERY nervous. :look:

I really don't know what I'm doing, so help me out ladies.

I have a pibbs 512 and a steamer. Which one should I use to set the color in???

I prepoo with different oils and condish. Can I still do this if I use a colorshower??

I don't use poo anymore. I use baking soda or Indian powders. Do I have to use a poo for the colorshower??

I don't want my scalp to be black either; how do I avoid this??

So what should I do??? Can I: PrePoo, Slather on Colorshower while condish is in my hair, rinse, "wash" with baking soda???? Or do I need a different regi for this??

You'll wanna use your 512 to set the color. You can still prepoo before using Color Showers. I don't use baking soda to wash, but I don't see why that w/b a problem. The best way to avoid a blue/gray scalp is to wash again after you rinse out the color and BEFORE you DC. I get the best color results on freshly washed hair, and save the conditioning for afterwards. I'm sure others will chime in with their practices. HTH!

So I should wash my hair first, apply colorshowers on wet hair, rinse, then dc??

Apply it to wet hair, the instructions are on the bottle.

Ohhhh okay! See I wasnt sure if I had to follow those instructions or if I could tweak it, so that it could go with my regiman.. Oh well, guess I can't pre poo! :look:

Can you add it to the conditioner and apply? If the conditioner is thick it seems like the color would be easier to manage.

I have no clue! I was actually thinking about just adding the colorshower to my hair right after I prepoo; meaning ALL the condish will still be in my hair, but i dunno...

What is the differnce in putting color on wet vs. dry hair?

If you put the color on dry will the color be semi-permanent and cause me to have damage?

I've added it to my DC and it came out great!! I first did it to save some time but I love the results so that's how I usually use it now!
