When you touch your hair on an average day...

Can you feel any product? These days I really can't (usually), unless I let it go past my usual every 3 day washing schedule or it's just after I put moisturizer on it. I remember in the days of "grease" I'd always be afraid for anyone to touch my hair for fear of coming in contact with an oil spill :lachen:

I guess I have another question to go along with this first one...SHOULD I be feeling something on my hair, even if it feels moisturized?

I dunno I wear my hair naked most of the time so no product here :look: but if i do i can feel it probably becuz i co wash everyday so i have to re apply anything i want to use

Yes. Less so if I just touch it lightly, more so if I rub it in between my fingers. I really dislike it, too, but no product leads to tangling and there really isn't any product that I can apply that I won't feel.

:yep: Castor Oil applied after my co-wash...you can definitely feel it. That's why I try to discourage the people that like to touch my hair:ohwell:

I can feel a little bit after a cowash when I spray my homemade glycern spray on.. but once it dries, it just feels moisturized and not greasy

yes it feels like there is product and i prefer it ithat way. it feels like its under control. it dosent feel sticky or hard but "thicker" or heavier than with out product.

Lately, no. I've been consciously trying to reduce the amount of product I use. Right now, despite me oiling & megasagging & spritzing my hair this morning, all you can feel is hair.

No matter how much scalp oiling, glycerin spritzing, shea buttering, end sealing...all you feel is soft hair.

Yay me!

I remember back in the "grease" days, I had to wipe my mom/dads backseat window off because I would always lean my "greasy head" on it. :nono:

No...

At night I apply a leave - in on dry hair, in the morning I dampen my hair and add a little oil to it.

Once and a while my hair gets on the oily side (I only use very small amount of oils) and my hand will come back with a thin layer of oil.

On those days I skip the oil and just add a small amount of leave - in or gel instead.

Your hair should definitely feel moisturized, but not be a grease slick... imo. :look:
