perhaps you've tried a product that a lot of other people said didnt work for them, but was great for you

or a cheapy product that you didnt expect to do much anything

or whatever other scenario there may be

what product(s) were you surprised worked well for your hair?

right now
for me, i'm going to say i surprisingly like this tresseme smooth and silky conditioner. i really didnt expect it to do anything. my mother actually bought it and i only used it as a last resort.

- I love Motions Products but I don't see them talked about too much.

- Also before adding new products, I read alot of reviews. When I reviewed Suave Humectant, I saw many say they didn't like or it did nothing for their hair. However, since I've tried it, I love it!

Your progress is great! Please tell me you have a fotki?

Products that surprised me were: Creme of Nature shampoo, it's so cheap yet effective and Herbal Essences LTR! Once again, it's so cheap and effective.

Lusters pink moisturiser.:look:........yeah I said it!

I haven't used it for years - but when I did it was ok.

*runs and hides in shame*

garnier's nutri repair conditioner i was afraid it was going to do anything with my thicker than thick new growth but its amazing.

Avo'Coco Lotion & Creme: This really moisturizes my hairline and nape. I didn't think it would work because it was homemade.

Nadia Fortifying Mask: I guess I wasn't sure if yet again a homemade product would work for me but this is seriously one of the best conditioners I've ever tried.

Washing hair w/Baking Soda and water: I was like "I'm not putting baking soda in my hair". I was at my wits ends when I realized all protein treatments stopped working and I knew I needed to clarify. I had to try this and it worked like a charm. My hair soaked up the treatment after a baking soda rinse.

VO5 conditioners work great for me, and I didn't expect them to since my hair dislikes similar cheapies like Suave.

Garnier Fructis Soft Curl Cream

Hands down the best leave in/ moisturizer I've tried. The comb just glides through my hair.
