So I really loved Tracyee's and Cherokee's buns. But I have an afro. And even stretched my hair is not as long as theirs. What to do, what to do?? Well, I knew I wasn't going to be able to manage a long braid hanging from the front, so I did a (busted) flat twist instead. And then I did my regular folded-over-afro-puff bun. The ribbon is to hide the ends that were bobby pinned. The doggone thing is so big you can hardly tell, but it is set off to one side. Not quite like theirs, but I like it anyway. Oh, I love it!!!! That's fabulous - I like that!!!

I could almost pull that off, but my bun would be - scrawny, to say the least. :lachen:

Love it, and you do have beautiful hair and skin! I'm glad to see someone natural pull this hairstyle off. I'll be taking notes and saving them for when my hair gets longer.

Aw, thanks you guys (esp BiB). And thanks for the skin compliments, too. I don't know anything about makeup, so I guess I got lucky there. I hope the bun can last at least 2 days like my other buns can without me having to refix it. Unlike Traycee's bun, it took me a wee bit longer than 5 minutes. If y'all try it please post!
