Tracyee & Cherokee Bun Envy + Medium Size Afro = . . .

So I really loved Tracyee's and Cherokee's buns. But I have an afro. And even stretched my hair is not as long as theirs. What to do, what to do?? Well, I knew I wasn't going to be able to manage a long braid hanging from the front, so I did a (busted) flat twist instead. And then I did my regular folded-over-afro-puff bun. The ribbon is to hide the ends that were bobby pinned. The doggone thing is so big you can hardly tell, but it is set off to one side. Not quite like theirs, but I like it anyway.
