House Head
i'm under a heat cap with some VO5 (i'm running out got 1 bottle left) and some jojoba and coconut oil because my head was itching like a (#&&#(:wallbash::wallbash: . Plus after lurking in fotkis all day I get sick and have to do something to my hair. The black girl on So You Think You Can Dance has my hairstyle on her head, I thought it was funny looking but she looked pretty cute.

Imma gonna moisturize with some Redken Real Control, 'cause I had protein overload last week and had to cut about 2 inches of hair off. Whatever, didn't care . I almost kept cutting, but had to stop myself from becoming "one of those people" :look: My hair has miraculously gone back to normal after using it the first time and applying Elasta QP Mango Butter everyday to restore the moisture levels. I got some Jane Carter Leave-In Condtioner today at Whole Foods, and will apply that after washing with my Oyin Poo Bar. I've learned my lesson though. This natural head needs no protein!!

I'm so afraid of protein, I hear so much about it. If i do use it is not on purpose.

I'm going to deep condition with Curl Ecstasy Hair Tea Conditioner from curls.biz - I plan on leaving it on for about an hour, rinse it out and use Jojoba oil as a leave-in. :)

I had a sample of this from honeyfig.com and it worked remarkably well. I am gonna have to put this on my shopping list.

I am not touching it anymore. I looked at all the products I have and they all have some form of protein in them, sometime 2-3 different types; from shampoo and conditioners to gels and leave-ins. That's why I am sticking with the safe stuff: Oyin!

Real Control does have protein in it, but it will only go on my hair once a week and for 5 minutes. That's it!

spraying some more o my ovation and water mix on my scalp:grin:
ill probably massage it again today too
i have braids in still

Well, I did a wash N Go today(which never lasts me long) so tonight, I will figure out how to sleep without totally ruining it.

i had to cut the grass cause my brother conveniently fell asleep :look:

so i had to wash. since i said next time i washed i was gonna do something about this breakage i did a light aphogee for 5 min and now i am DCing with kenra mc, honey, and EVOO.

i'm not gonna do anything but bun it i'm sure. unless the creative bone starts a-vibratin'.

I was looking at your avi, you have some great growth, be prepared for a new hair stalker. What are you doing to retain ALL that length?

I actually just washed and conditioned my hair then brushed it back into a ponytail. I think I will be wearing my hair like this for the next few days. I seem to get lazy with my hair later on in the week.

ugh trying to figure out what to do with my "straight" hair. It's not straight enough to wear down and have me feel ok about it...any ideas? I was thinking maybe twists?

I plan on giving myself a nice scalp massage with jojoba oil and essential oils of lavender and cedarwood.....then prep my hair for a braidout.

Relax, deep condition, might trim if I feel like it (I probably won't lol); Rollerset and maybe do the saran wrap thing.

Last night I did coconut milk/honey/flaxseed oil DC overnight. Tonight I plan on doing just a plain old EVOO and coconut milk DC, overnight. I always overnight it(but not every night) and my hair is going KABOOM!

I'm going to wash it with the ORS shampoo, deep condition with ORS Mayo, then I will rollerset and air dry.

deep condition with heat, mositurize with sunsilk, seal with ntm, and go to bed with wet hair, I am 20 weeks post, and not sure which way to go,

I will be washing, DCing and rinsing with Beer(giving to me by my co-worker) and flat-ironing my hair with my Sabino Moisture Block.

i didn't want to post in the Sabino thread about my not receiving my product and getting my money back, but the ADDICT in me found it at a local BSS store in my town for $15.99:grin: Diane was wonderful at Sabino with crediting my account back $27.99. I never received my product after it being shipped twice by her.:ohwell:

Can't wait I am so excited. My hair betta do it's thang tonight:spinning:

Nothin much! I will probably just co-wash and do a braid out...maybe I'll DC with heat first, I haven't done this in forever
