Ooh pretty! Shunta- do you relax bone straight or so you leave some texture to your hair? Are you a protective style wearer or do you rock your rollersets the majority of the time? Hope that wasn't to many questions? :look: Again beautiful hair!

Thats not too many questions hun. Im honored that anyone is even interested in my regimen. To answer your question, I do relax bone straight. It just makes my life easier. I only go to the salon for my relaxers which are anywhere from 8-10 wks. So, as you can see, Im not much of a stretcher. I do everything else myself. I only rollerset to achieve a straight style, so that way I wont have to use a blowdryer or a flat iron. As far as protective styling, I wear a ponytail everyday or I'll just wear my hair up in one of those jaw clips, so I wouldn't really call it protective styling because my ends are still exposed. But I just make sure I moisturize them everyday so they wont dry out. And I'd definitely say that rollersetting has helped me reach my goal of BSL. Even though sitting under that dryer for 90 mins is not the funnest thing in the world, it has made a difference in the health of my hair. Again, thanks ladies for all your kind words! I put a little Elucence in my hair as a leave-in, then I rollerset and go under the dryer for about 90 mins and thats it! No direct heat at all for me, so my ends stay in pretty good shape. OMG! Yep..... it's official..... I'm droolin. Silken black fabric is right. It reminds me of the flowing fabric in the Dove chocolate commercial... only black.
 
Shunta, your hair is simply gorgeous :love:... it's blunt, thick, and healthy... looks just like black silk! Very pretty!
