...Ok sorry i had to get a bit loud i am SO happy. A huge thank you to the ladies that reccomended the 50/50 aloe vera and glycerin mix. I've had it in for 54 minutes and this is the SOFTEST and MOISTURIZED my hair have EVER been straight after washing it! I would never co-wash/ wash daily, because my hair would always be dry and course. And the companies that produced the products i once loved changed the ingredients, but now i have Glycerin and Aloe!!!...Then again it would make sense that these products would work together, they are the key ingredients in my old products. I cannot stress how beautifully soft and moisturized my hair feels!!!!!! I definately won't be shaving it off in a frantic fit ever again, its so soft! :yep:

THANK YOU AGAIN LADIES

:bighug:

I used Holland & Barrett (Uk Health store) Certified Aloe Gel 99.9% and a brand called eternal beauty glycerin pure B.P, also a UK brand. I wanted to get lilly of the desert but my finances did not permit that :nono:, but im not complaining. This is the best £5 i have ever spent on my hair!

that's great! I also love my aloe/glycerin/water/saa mix and consider it one of the best hair products I use!

My hair love Aloe Vera, jojoba oil, glycerin mix, my hair is also really moisturized and soft after using this combo. I'm glad you found something that makes you and your hair happy!!!

This is the premise on how I make my own stuff. Look at the stuff they "added" to make their products work. It's added because the rest of the gunk doesn't help, it's just fillers that your hair can't absorb. I swear by my aloe/glycerin/distilled water mix. I add water to give it a little more moisture boost. Keep it up girlie, you're on to something big!

I'm going to get some of this tomorrow - hope I have the same success you did.

:woohoo:You ladies are toooo much!! :urock:You're always putting me on to different products and I'm always learning new things.:thankyou::worship2:

This is truly great for my natural! I use glycerin/irish moss/aloe gel...gonna try adding saa. My hair stays moisturized! I make my own aloe gel...at a dollar a leaf, can't be beat.

Wow! I really need to try that!
Where did you buy the eternal beauty glycerin? How much did you use in your hair? Did you wash it out afterwards?
Sorry i'm a bit slow
TIA!

This is exactly what's in my spray bottle! I like to experiment by adding a different EO every once in a while - like pepperment, rosemary, or grapefruit (for scent :yep:) You can really tell the difference after using it between something that REALLY moisturizes and improves your hair, vs something that just sits on top and cause buildup!

Crissi where did you get the glycerin?

I got it from Beauty Queens (Birmingham), there were so many brands, but i just picked up this one, it was one of the more reasonable priced and was verified vegetarian... im going to take a pic and post it up...because i cannot seem to find a pic on google...

I used alot when i first used it because i am use to putting so much product in my hair after i wash it just to get it half decent. However now i see i do not need to use that much in between washes...And i do not wash it out...however i can definitely be creative and try co-washing

Where are you lhcf ladies finding glycerin from? I've been looking in health stores and supermarkets but i can seem to find it. Would it be under the food section? =S
