I have to admit, I have a hair fetish. Not necessarily a long hair fetish, but any hair fetish. I just LOVEEEEEEE hair.:love: I can't stop talking about it, and everything. I am really on the verge of asking for help.:phone: Well, not really!:rolleyes: It goes beyond daily hair care. But, I want to know if I was the only one?

I've always been hair obsessed since I was a little girl. I taught myself how to cornrow and I was always in my doll's hair. I'm always looking at people's hair and trying to figure out what hair type they are. I'm trying to stop though:ohwell:

I've always be interested in hair and when I found this site I was in :love: I didn't call myself locabouthair for nothin:lachen:
 
i dunno about fetish but i hair type the hell out of people nowadays...i was in dollar tree and this girl with the most perfectly moisturized and swangy braidout walked past. i had to stop myself from staring/asking her what her regimen is.

I really like pretty hair in general, but I wouldn't call it a fetish.

I am able to talk hair, but after a while even I get tired of it. lol

Some people think of "fetish" in a sexual sense. Which is surely not what you mean. The word fetish has multiple meanings, including: An object of unreasonably excessive attention or reverence... and An abnormally obsessive preoccupation or attachment; a fixation...

Now whether a hair obsession is unreasonable or abnormal or not is anybody's guess. :look:

Oppss, wrong word!:look: Then I am hair obsessed. Not fetished. I don't get any sexual excitement from it.:nono: I just really like it!:yep:
 
Well, lets see...

I like the way it feels between my fingers...The strands are so supple, yet so strong...I love to see it blow with the slightest breeze...I love to little flickers of light that reflect off each shiny strand. I like the smell of freshly shampooed hair. I like the way the hairs gently tug at my scalp when I shake my head (when it was longer).

I could say that I have a slight obsession.
 
I think i just have a fetish for my whole outward appearance. I'm vain...so sad lol. But yeah I have a hair fetish. I just love looking at healthy hair. I want to one da y be at that point. I constantly take pics of my hair and set mini goals for it...so one day it can be longer too....loool I'm obsessed. At least my hair doesn't have a name....yet:perplexed
 
I'm passionate about my hair , I like to ready about hair, talk about hair , hair products , I striving for healthy long hair , I even pay about my hair ...you decide:grin:
 
It's past a fetish i think i need help lol!!! one time i was at this bebe store and this caucasian woman had this beautiful healthy head of red hair and i was on the phone with a guy, i said to her " i love your hair the color and cut is amazing" and then i said to her " i have a hair fetish" i think she thought i was trying to pick her up, i know the guy i was on the phone with did :)
in harlem where i work a lot of the females have beautiful hair, and i know i have a problem when i stop in the street turn back to look at a chicks hair.
and i don't care about race, if you have nice hair odds are i'm staring at it.

I am obsessed with my hair always have been. But thats not all...
I have a fetish for my hair, nails, my skin, makeup, shopping, shoes....
The list goes on.:drunk::spinning::drunk::grin:
 
I wouldn't call it a fetish but I am totally into hair and can talk about it for hours if that's what you mean. I'm always checking out people's hair and looking for new info on hair growth and retention.
 
Yeh, girl...i got a BAD FETISH! Examples:

1. My hair will be clean and look nice, but i will come home and redo it...ahhh!
2. If i don't won't to do something, I tell myself "if you do it..you can come home and do your hair!" :grin:
3. I would rather buy an expensive conditioner than go to dinner.
4. If you talk to me for over 5 minutes, I've mentioned something about hair about 10 times.
5. I was thinking about going to cosmetology school, just so I can learn to do my OWN hair better!

Girl, I would type more, but I need to finish my hair!!! :lachen:
