Daily washing. I have been washing with a dab of the ovation shampoo, using the treatment on my scalp for a couple of minutes and conditioning for 10-45 minutes every morning now for the past couple of days and I love it.

My hair is softer, my scalp feels great and it just feels good

Alter Ego energizing treatment, I think I already said this before but its great. Everyone go get some!

Bed Head Ego boost- Loving this on my ends, lightweight, no sticky leave in

HE LTR conditioner as a rinse- I know I'm late so I'll say, soft, sleek, moisturized hair blah blah blah

HE LTR leave in -on wet hair sealed with grapeseed oil( I used this for airdrying in twists- still not sure if I would like it for rollersetting)

Dabur special light oil- nice and light, absorbs nicely and the hibiscus makes hair really silky-not sure if it has mineral oil bottle says vegetable oils

Slatkin Black Fig and Absinthe conditioner- has really good ingredients like biotin, glycogen, oat protein-too many to type. Nice smell that lasted a week even after using salerm 21, HE LTR all week.

Revisited Hit(from my personal use it up challenge)

Vatika oil!!!!-
forgot what I was missing!

Capilo Honey and Milk DC
(mixed with coconut/amla oil, hibiscus powder, proclaim aloe and shea conditioner, garlic and banana mango rinses)
Not crazy about capilo, but it works nicely for me as a dc on dry hair. I am pretty positive I won't repurchase the conditioner though.

I finally was able to self-relax without excessive scalp burning AND my hair wasn't undersprocessed (with Mizani for Coarse and Resistant Hair)!

After I rinsed my relaxer, I shampooed once with my Phormula7 neutralizer, applied Kerafuse let it sit and rinsed, Hydrafuse, and then Kenra MC. My hair was so silky, smooth, and shiny once my rollerset dried! Too bad the set wasn't cute, so it got combed out :nono:...

Miss :wallbash::
MY OWN FREAKIN SISTER! She broke my $200 digital camera about 1 month and a half ago and is b-sing about supposedly getting it fixed. I'm getting ready to just suck it up and replace it, b/c I need a year later comparison pic for my avatar (it was taken last Father's Day) and would just like to have my camera, anyway. I'm missing a whole set of progress pics fooling with her! I'm finally getting hair compliments, but when you have hair anorexia you need pics to believe them!

I so want to try this and the shampoo? May I ask if you have had the chance to try the shampoo? If so, how is it? Also, where do you purchase the co from?

I got it from TJ Maxx but I have seen it in Marshalls. I haven't tried the shampoo.

On the fence:

Sedu 1 1/2 flatiron. It does natural hair justice (DD hair is straight as a board) but the verdic is still out on my hair. I didn't like it but it may just be that I rarely flatiron my hair and it was a shock to my hair. IDK!!

Shescentit's fortifying mask:lick::yep:
Shescentit's Green Grape Leave-in Spray
Lottabody setting lotion
Hairzings! Love 'em! I got them in Natural, Pink and Purple! They are wonderful for protective styling especially since I'm always on the run.

On the fence:ohwell:

ORS Replenishing Conditioner--sometimes it's a hit for me, my last wash it was a no-no. I miss the old formula with Marine Protein, now I have to mix it with add-ins to make it work well like it used to. I just don't know about this one anymore.

When did the ORS Replenishing formula change? I haven't even noticed the difference.

lol this belongs in the "you know you're a member of LHCF when..." thread.

LOL! I thought that after I re-read my post!

Hit: The Joico K-Pak 17 Minute Hair Repair Kit. I got the 4oz sizes kit on clearance for $6.81 at Beauty Express, so that was the only reason I tried it. My hair feels so healthy, now! I hate it's pricer than my Mizani/Keracare/Kenra realm. I think I'm going to just suck it up and buy the $115 liter set since it'll last for a good while. I'm trying to use a specific line for a month or longer before trying/using something else.

Miss: My sister is still a miss b/c not only did she not pay for the camera, she called me thinking I'm gonna help her on her water bill!! Yeah right! I'm a mother, ten years her junior, and have a million more bills! Has she gone mad??!! Okay, this is SO another post in another thread, lol!

Organix Citrus Mango conditioner as a leave-in :lick:
Ramtirth Brahmi oil

I tried the coconut one as a leave in tonight and I feel the same way:yep:. I had to check myself because I want to go Organix crazy! I love the coconut, teatree mint and vanilla. I want to try that citrus , pomegranate and the grapeseed one. I have exhausted all of my usual addresses :look:for rebates:spinning:, so I told myself to chill.

Hits

1. organix coconut milk conditioner as a leave in sealed with coconut oil:yep::lick:

2.adding a capful of rosewater and glycerin to deep conditioners, or in a spritz with grapeseed oil for a daily moisturizer

3.gro aut oil- All I know is this stuff is very stimulating on the scalp for days. No increased shedding for me either. Yet. We will see about growth.

4.:yay:Aveda Dry Remedy Masque (coming 7/08):lick:
Got a sample from the site. I knew it wouldn't be enough for my whole head so I tried some on a small section. I am a slatherer. I decided to try a "normal amount" on the section. On application it immediately softens and is very slippery, moisturizing and detangling.
I sat under the dryer for 20 min. After rinsing, the section was very soft, moisturizied and detangled, like I expect from Kenra . I could have used a fine tooth comb on the section . I know the Aveda heads will love this. My only problem with Aveda as a relaxed head was that the conditioners didn't give me enough moisture and the amounts of protein. Not with this! I will definitely purchase this. Also it has a nice citrusy Aveda scent.

I was skeptical because of dimethicone being the third ingredient, but this stuff is gooooood!-it is more than just the cone. My hair felt so moisturized, that I wanted to use a leave in with protein!

Ingredients:water, cyclopentasiloxane, cetearyl alcohol, dimethicone, stearalkonium chloride, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, stearyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, buriti fruit oil, pomegranate sterols, orbignya speciosa kernel oil, murumuru seed butter, tocopherol, ethyl macadamiate, vinegar, sunflower seed oil, soybean oil, meadofoam oil, jojoba seed oil, babassuamidopropyltrimonium methosulfate, distearyldimonium chloride, behentrimonium chloride, polyquaternium-10, behenamidopropyl trimonium methosulfate, alcohol denat., fragrance, geraniol, limonenne, citronellol, eugenol, linalool, citral, citric acid , sodium gluconate, potassium sorbate

REVISITED/ CONTINUED HITS FROM THE PJ STASH:

1. VATIKA OIL USED AS DIRECTED AS PREPOO WITH VATIKA SHAMPOO: WOW! :blush:this stuff is really meant to be used together. Alone I found the shampoo not all that moisturizing, but not drying either. Together, my hair was so moisturized.
2. Kan Kanechomn amazonian multiherb conditioner - but still too runny for my taste
3.airdrying in two twists- so far so good. trying to do without rollersetting every week this summer.
