The Almond smell so so good :lick: all of us wash our bodies with that flavor. I use the Pepermint for the floors, I wash our clothes with the Lavendar and I wash my hair with the Tea Tree.

Are there any other *flavors* of castile soap that I haven't ran across yet?

Thanks for this post - I am a newbie to this so right now I have only used the Mild by Dr. Bronners... I am ready to branch out though. I can definitely tell a difference since I left that other stuff alone.

I was shocked when I saw how many different flavors of Castile Soap there was AND the fact that you can use it for just about EVERYTHING!! :drunk: I am saving a lot of money in cleaning products. :yep:

:bump:

hey sweetie,

are you using this for a shampoo, as well?

tia,

I will probably start using the Almond flavored on my hair since it's getting warm....when it dries it leaves this lovely almond scent that makes me smile. :drunk:

:bump:

I use the peppermint(very diluted) as shampoo. I have replaced my shampoo with castile. It's so gentle on my strands. Some people say it dries out their hair but I always ask if they diluted it first. Castile soap comes concentrated, that's one of the reasons it's so economical. I use the peppermint as my body soap too. I want to use it to wash dishes and clean but since I use it on my hair too I'm having a hard time unclenching my fist. I'm such a miser when it comes to my hair products. So since this is a "hair product" for me I hoard it. I plan on buying the tea tree oil castile for my hair and get the lavender for my clothes. I plan on using the different kinds for everything I can!

I didn't know you were supposed to dilute.. thank goodness I haven't used it as my shampoo yet :lachen:

what ratio are you using to dilute your soap?

I use peppermint, but have my eye on almond and mild, so that I can use it for my babies...

I didn't know you could clean with it either...I did use the peppermint to shower with and felt crisp and tingly..woke me right up

The almond is the best, all-around! I love washing with it-- makes the whole bathroom smell so good. The problem is that no matter how much I dilute it, it always goes fast.

I hate the smell of lavendar and eucalyptus [sp] so there is no way that I would buy those. Also, since I already use peppermint oil for almost everything, it gets a bit over-done if I use it to wash.

You know it never dawned on me to dilute it :scratchch I literally just use 3 tablespoons when I wash my hair and a few squirts on my wash cloth when I wash my body. I need to be more conservative when I wash my clothes because I KNOW I use too much of the lavendar. :look: I use the Tea Tree for the medicinal properties but it doesn't smell all that hot :nono: that's why I am considering switching to the Almond during the warmer months. I just hope and pray no bugs start flying after me because of the sweet smell of the almond scent.

I'm a peppermint girl allll the way! Now yall have me wanting to try the Almond!
Tip:
In the summertime when it's really hot early in the am, a shower with the peppermint is sooo refreshing and will keep you tingly cool for a long time. I LOVE IT!

Wow..it does all of that?!?

laundry and all, huh?

I tried reading the bottle, but the blasted thing gives me a headache. I know it says it has 18 uses, but I had no idea

In the past I used the peppermint for a shampoo - this was when I would wear my hair in natural styles. It has a wonderful lather and was not drying at all.

I'm gonna see if I can find the eucalyptus flavor, I haven't seen that one.

thanks sweetie. now if I could get the right dilution I would be set. I used it once and my hair was cleaned but really dry(figured I did not have enough water).

My hair feels a tad dry directly after using it but once I put my conditioner on the softness returns immediately. :yep:

Yea castille or bastille (which is what dr. bronners really is) soap has plenty of uses but for clothes its a no go. The cleaning properties of a true castille is very very mild so it will hardly have any affect on clothes at all. But Dr. Bronners version of Castille (really bastille) has other oils such as coconut which is a cleansing oil so therefore can clean more but still not enough for house cleaning or laundry.
